After that, if I had control and there were no conflicts (I wish...) , I would make HHB, and maybe in the middle of HHB production, start filming LB.

Then I would hope they did The Magicains Nephew and The Last Battle back to back, in one big production, so they can be released close togther. Well not CLOSE, but you get my meaning.

I actually voted Magician's Nephew. I would really like LB being made directly after SC, and you can't have LB w/out MN. We've seen that Will Poulter can pull off looking younger than he is, but for Jill....the actress might be a bit too old by the time LB came around if they did SC, MN, and then LB. I don't know maybe she would....

I voted for The Silver Chair: Chronologically it is the next and finishes off what is referred to as the "Caspian Trilogy".

Also, I think the filmmakers will want the audience to maintain the connection from VDT with Eustace(Will Poulter) and to a smaller degree King Caspian(as older and younger at the end). All the other major characters will be new so having someone familiar from the previous film and story will be a major consideration in favor of SC. IMHO of course.

I would have to say the Silver Chair. They will have Eustace still playing an active role as his character being that he is already used to the role. I would love to see this movie when it comes together...should be awesome!

Hmm, I see your points. It does look like SC would be the logical choice. Ellz_bellz, I think that would be awesome if MN and LB were released about 6-8 months apart! Though I'm not sure how that would work filming wise.

The Silver Chair should be next, for all of the reasons listed above.

I really like the idea of MN and LB being released really close together. Good point about filming, but if they had different directors and mostly different crews they could be filming at almost the same time. Plus, the only characters that would appear in both are Aslan, King Frank, and Queen Helen.

SC, without a doubt! I would prefer them to continue to be released in published order.
I don't think it would hurt though to switch MN and HHB around, and have MN first then HHB, and last of all LB. My reasoning for this would be:

1. MN needs to be filmed as soon as possible because Tilda Swinton isn’t getting any younger

2. HHB needs to be made later because the Pevensie’s need to age some more.

But I'm happy, as long as they get made!

I voted SC. Will Poulter is already seven years older than his character. Even if they make SC next he’ll still be nearly twice his character's age. If SC is not the next film they’re going to have to find a different actor to play Eustace.

SC has to be next; in some ways it is a continuation of the narrative from VDT. It takes us back to Eustace's life, shows us how he has changed but how his school world hasn't, and then launches him and Jill into a new adventure.

Yes Silver Chair has to be next. I think MN can be made any time as prequels often come out after a series has been completed, but then there is the point that Tilda Swinton isn't getting any younger and in MN she shouldn't have as much make up as this is before she eats the apple and becomes 'white' The HHB has to be my favourite book and it'd be good if they could wait a while to make it so that the Pevensies can look a good bit older. Saying that I would love the LB to be last as it just rounded the books off so beautifully and nothing else needed to be said after it was over. - Another book to be made into a film after that would just take away from the sense of completion you get after the end of the LB book. - I just worry that they won't make any more films after SC like the last time.

Yeah me too. I'm basically expecting them to make them all, but is it even known if they're gonna make SC? Or just highly speculated?
