Alright! I started one of these threads on the old forum. This one is going to be slightly different but I have the same goal in view. On here I want everyone to have fun to discuss there favorites parts, scenes, actorscharacters and ANYTHING that they like, with PC. This will also be a poll where I have encluded different things.

When I started this on the other forum there was some fighting becuase of the Caspian and Susan romance. Though I am an avvid supporter of it, I would like to keep from argueing on it. It can cause some nasty things to be said.

Like I said above, I want to talk about the things that make you happy about the movie!!!! With that all said, let's go!!!

I love the PC more than any other movie. Some of my favorites scene are: All the ones with Caspian and Susan. Caspian's confrontion with Miraz. The duel.

And my list could go on....I like the whole movie. PLease vote and state what you like!!!!!!

I think the locations and sets were amazing (and this time we got to see more of them, which in the first movie we didn't, most of the shots were upclose shots).

The Soca River IS the Beruna and that beach in New Zealand IS where Cair Paravel would have been.

Miraz's castle also looked very believable.

I voted for the spiritual message as a close second, but so much was left out of it you probably wouldn't have a clue there even was any.

"It started out as a feeling, which then grew into a hope..." er, not... ;)

Conceptually, I like pretty much everything they did with the movie. I'm fine with the idea of adding tension between Peter and Caspian (with Peter's ego stuff and all) but I don't really think they handeled it well.

I guess the easier thing would be to list things I don't like, that is typically easier.

Farsight: Your quite right, the locations were very very beautiful. I loved the battle for Beruna, and the place where Caspian is riding in the beginning.

A believe the message was quite there. Becuase they didn't trust Aslan, and they failed. That's a message in itself. Thanks for voting!!!!

Balin: I like everything too. The tension didn't bother me AT all, I kinda liked it. As long as it was never Caspian's fault ;) Well, that's why I started this thread.....you know so people could come and be positive and have a fun time discussing what they really like. Thanks for voting!

I loved PC as a whole, though not quite as much as LWW.
My favorite aspect of the movie was the spiritual message/christian basis.
Reading the book I found it hard to find the message, however in the movie it was enhanced and much more clearly to see and I loved that aspect of it, even when Peter's character was changed completely.

I really, really liked Aslan's How. They did a fantastic job with that, especially the carvings and such on the walls. The rest of the sets were incredible, too, like Miraz' castle for instance. The ruins of Cair Paravel were stunning, also, and I loved it when the Pevensies all realized where they were.

As for characters, I ADORE Trumpkin and his dry sense of humor. I didn't like the modifications to Glenstorm, though, since the book gave his appearance rather directly. I didn't like the changes to Peter's personality, either. I loved seeing all the fauns jumping and leaping around during the castle raid sequence. <3 They're the best.

Also, Edmund KICKED TELMARINE TAIL. It's a nice preview of his battle skills in HHB!!!

Everything's funny at one o'clock in the morning!

I really liked this movie because it had a spiritual message. Though it wasn't mentioned out loud, the lesson was shown through many of the characters. Lucy had faith that she saw Aslan. She believed Aslan could still help them though it wasn't the same way like last time for them. (Like He said, 'Things never happen the same way twice, dear one.'...Well, He said it twice. lol)
Edmund though he too might have had faith in Aslan...didn't say much about it. (I'm not criticizing his character. ok?)
Susan lost faith in Aslan or Narnia when she was told she couldn't come back again (the Shadowlands).
Peter wanted something he couldn't have again and he was pretty haughty or stubborn to get what he wanted. And his pride fell when he felt the consequences. (Night Raid.)

narniafan1: I agree. The spiritual message was very nice and clear I think in PC. Thanks for voting!!

Kelila: Quite right. The set's and places were very good. I loved them as well! Thanks for posting and voting!!!!! :)

KingofKing'sDaughter: Though I can't agree about Susan....I do agree about the spiritual message. It is there and I think both Lucy and Edmund had faith. I also think Susan wanted to believe, but was having a hard time. Peter was really being proud and stuborn and didn't even really think of Aslan for awhile until after the night raid. I think both him and Caspian long with the rest, new it was time for Aslan to come in. (I'm NOT slamming the characters AT ALL) Thanks for voting!!!

I hadn't realized we could pick to options therefore I just placed my second vote, and it was for the adaptation/changes.

I love PC the book, but it does rank among my least favorite books, #6,
so the things that were left out didn't bother me so much at all and the things that were added I quite enjoyed, especially the night raid.

First I would like to say that I love the characters, they truly fit the role they were playing and they did it very well, would not have chosen a better cast. The character Miraz did an excellent job at his role and an evil king.

The locations and scenery were amazing and the wonderful job on the costumes. I would say the best scene is when they get back to Narnia and and they are happy. I absolutely loved it!

I liked everything too!!! :)

I also think the whole Caspian/Susan thing was great! :D
But I am a little worried about what they are going to do if they do decide to bring Susan back? :-s

Kiss their franchise goodbye? :P

Miraz was very well done. He's not as creepy as the WW, but he's a lot more interesting and evil than the book character, who is one of the blander villains in the CoN.

The locations/sets really impressed me in this movie. I liked other things too of course lol, but that was the highlight for me. The castle, Aslan's How, the bridge/river god, etc... it made it seem real

My favourite thing from that list probably has to be the locations and sets. For my second vote I put "Other", as I was seriously impressed by the cinematography and sound. And VFX. And creature effects ...

There were bits of everything that I liked, though. There were some bits of the adaption that I thought were fantastic, and then there were other parts that weren't quite. I suppose I could say the same even for some of the locations and effects, though - but I was more pleased overall with the sets and cinematography than I was with the script. :)
