Finaly got to see the VODT I won't put in any spoilers just relate my opinion of the movie. If you've read the book you may be disappointed with the movie, as compared with the book things are mixed up. Having said that I still enjoyed the movie and will see it again. In the book you get to know the characters in the story better and so relate to them and become fond of the different ones. Maybe because there must be a time limit on how long the movie can go for as they don't spend too long getting to know the characters. I think a closer adaption of the novel could have been done with more time added to the movie. I guess they wanted to make it fast paced instead of taking more time with it. It had good homour in it but there was also humour that was in the book that wasn't in the movie, which was disappointing. The effects were excellent and I guess if I hadn't read the book I'd have enjoyed it more. I will treat the movie as seperate thing to the book , because the book has so much more in it.
