Gah! Why can't sanity advertise their special deals? I already bought it. Oh well! I guess I can sell on one copy if it's worth getting the other one.

Anyone found any easter eggs yet?

Ugly_Pig, that's stupid! Is that your Norwegian copy or an Aussie copy?
Any Aussies who can confirm the aspect ration of VDT? Thanks

Great news about the dvd being out!! My Mum was in town yesterday and our very small local Dvd hire shop has it advertised on the front windows :)
So cool as I haven't seen it yet (edit: I mean I haven't seen the movie yet not the posters - although that said I haven't seen them yet either 8-} ) My sister and I are going into town next week so guess where we will be heading!!

Do you love "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes?
If so you might like to see my sister's dramatization of this poem through her photography!

I saw it in kmart if that helps.

Not in our local K-Mart. I made a point of asking about it. They aren't advertising any new DVD's at this moment, it would seem. I was told that VDT wasn't available yet at K-Mart. A woman with a distinctively British accent complained to me that the same girl told her that Ironman or something also was unavailable. She didn't look it up on the computer, either.

The girl at the service desk said they only made displays of really popular movies such as Twilight (ugh!) and Harry Potter, so I asked why there isn't already a display out for Harry Potter the DVD of which will be out in one or two weeks' time. I also told her she'd be lucky if I even wanted to go into a shop which advertised Twilight, which I didn't like. ;) Besides, they were still flogging Twilight T-shirts down at the local cinema last December.

All the while, I could see on the back wall a centrally displayed advertisement out for the lovely little The Guardian of Ga'hoole DVD which came out on Feb 2nd, two months ago. There is no way that this movie could have been considered more popular than How to train your dragon, the other DVD which was also displayed. I didn't see anything for Tron:legacy or for Tangled, either.

Maybe go into target... at my local target they have litterally a few hundred coppies on a massive wall with a huge aslan ontop of them... theyre getting right into it! also they are giving away a $5 music voucher with each dvd... also Big W has great narnia displays with plenty of coppies too! but just incase you missed it, if you get into Sanity quickly you can get the collector dvd tin with the Blue/dvd/digital 3 disc collection! (if you have those stores near you)

In the grand scheme MOVIES ARE NOT IMPORTANT, people are important, Love one another and treat eachother how we would like to be treated ourselves!

This is local K-Mart revisited. :D ;) And I am the local difficult-to-please customer who on occasion gives K-Mart shop assistants nightmares. =)) So I went back this weekend to see what had happened. I found there was a display of VDT DVD's - no Blu-ray. But they were in the general DVD area for new releases, not in the mid-store display area. There was a single Megamind DVD beside it, with not much room for any more DVD's there, and a single embarrassed-looking Megamind poster on the wall, up beside the Legend of the Guardians: the Owls of Ga'hoole poster.

Tangled was nowhere in sight and neither was Tron: Legacy. Neither of these two movies got a poster on display, either. As well, not one of these four movies were in the mid-store display area, which was full of action movies of one kind or another. The girl who let me know about the VDT DVD was much nicer than the one I saw last week, but I still didn't buy any DVD's there, having already purchased both packages from J&B HiFi. I was asking about the similarly unadvertised HPDH1 DVD, you see, and merely asked about VDT whilst I was there.

What is this about really popular movies getting all the hoopla? /:)
