That Aslan poster would have made a great movie poster! Minus Reep of course!
Those look fake to me. They're probably real, but they look fake.

They've attributed the designs to a professional design company on their wesbite - "Iconisus L&Y - Visual Communication Systems" (the same people who did the teaser poster for VDT, but not the theatrical poster) - which i doubt they would do if they had simply found the images, so i would probably imagine they've received these in an official capacity and that they are therefore genuine.
There have been quite a few VDT posters released which have had really cheap photoshop work on them and visual errors so sloppy you would of had to conclude they were fake, but which ultimately turned out to be real, so there is no reason to suspect these would not be genuine as they are fairly nicely done, if a little basic.
I like those three posters...but "Return to Narnia with The White Witch"?
While it is a good poster it is just WRONG!!! She has such a small part in the movie I can't even begin to describe how misleading this is
Remember when Tilda said she was surprised she was put in the trailer because it took longer to do a 23 minute interview than it did for her to film her scenes? We all thought she was exaggerating, but I honestly wouldnt be surprised if she was telling the truth.
Winter Is Coming
Here is a pretty interesting looking billboard type thing for the movie in Basingstoke of all places:

At first i thought it was a photo of the Matthew, but then i realised the location was Basingstoke. Though the Matthew is back up and running as the Dawn Treader in Bristol at the moment, plenty of new photos of it showing up on Flickr:

Added:
This was the advert which was played during the Saturday night episode of The X Factor on UK TV, but this version doesn't have the added Joe McElderry bit on the end which i mentioned.

Of course the whole "In 5 Days" thing means it won't be shown again and would only have been shown in the US today given that the movie comes out a day later in the US than it does in the UK.
Didn't realize those three posters were here, I like them. Jadis seems weird though. Aslan and Reepicheep make perfect sense. I saw the link on IMDb, which linked me to Shockya.
What are your guys' impressions of the TV marketing campaign?
I'm not a big television watcher and the channels I watch aren't particularly in the target demographic for Narnia advertisments. Have you guys been seeing a lot of them as comparable to other movies coming out or the films in the past? Just curious. :>
Personally, i have been looking for them and have not seen that many advertisements. This ad campaign, while not as bad as Prince Caspian, still leaves allot to be desired. At least in the United States. I've seen so many ads for The Tourist,Tangled,Yogi Bear etc. Tron has even had more ads out. Also they have spots on other products commercials as being sponsored by them. I did see another spot during football on Sunday. So that's a pretty good way to reach everybody. However, I'm still really disappointed in Fox. Allot of people are just starting to figure out that a new Narnia movie is even coming out. I was hoping that they would really ramp up the marketing. It's almost like they have given up and figure that this film will gross what it grosses with or without ads.
I have been seeing the Narnia ads on tv for WEEKS now. I think Fox did well I think. I don't think they've given up at all. Maybe you're looking in the wrong stations?
(welcome to Narniaweb btw)
In Hakone, a famous spa resort area in Japan, a round-trip tourist who get 4 more Narnian character stamps at 7 stamp points around Hakone(each stamp point have a different stamp, but 2 ports have a same stamp) on their coupon booklet, will get a Dawn Treader key ring.
The event have been held from Dec. 1st 2010 through Mar. 31th 2011.
You can read it here, only in Japanese, about the coupon booklet home page, about Narnian stamp collect page, about spa page, and another event page.
And two cruise ship , the Royal and the Victory, on the lake Ashinoko in Hakone will be held a photo exhibition about VDT from Jan. 9th to Feb. 13th 2011.
I don't think I will see that exhibition, but I will go to Hakone to get the key ring soon.
So I think they decided to really ramp up the ads for Voyage of the Dawn Treader this week. Makes sense since it's about to be released. I live in New York City. I saw 1 during two and a half men, and 2 during a country music awards ceremony. One of them featured Carrie Underwood singing. My mom, who lives in Baltimore told me she has seen them all over TV recently. So maybe Fox will get it together in the end, at least in this market.
Anybody find the soundtrack in stores? I went to three Targets, a Best Buy and a Christian library but I couldn't find this soundtrack! I was beginning to think it was available only in digital download but that's not the case!
Target and Best Buy have all other new releases this week, why no Narnia?!
According to Amazon- they weren't releasing it til the 9th, not sure if that's the case with all stores, but check again in a few days
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
Huh? The Amazon page I'm looking at says Dec 7th. And lucky Gymfan15 got her copy in the mail yesterday.
@Narnian1, I'm not sure. Have you checked local Christian bookstores? They seem to be the first ones to get merchandising.
checked the only one near me, didn't have it. I saw myself defeated and just ordered it through amazon, available today. But I wanted to have it in hand today. Didn't think I wouldn't find it in stores.
