I found this link to a clip of the "Untold Adventures of the Dawn Treader," which will be a special feature of the DVD. What do you guys think about it?

I'll probably post my thoughts on it once I've watched it through enough without being suprised of now knowing what kind of "animation" they used, and finally listen in to all that's being said. But at the moment, it's okay.
Looks really interesting. Had more of a storytelling feel just watching that than I did the VDT movie. And they took Pauline Baynes' illustrations from Silver Chair to make that short. Wonder what the rest of it is like. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link. I thought it was cool how they showed you what happened before edmund, eustace, and lucy came aboard the Dawn Treader.

Thanks for the link Shastafan. Wow, when they said this was supposed to be an animated clip, that's what I was expecting- animation. It's an insult to call that animation. Nothing is really moving and what is moving is just simple back and forth motions. I'll give it credit, it does work if you consider it as a sort of "virtual storybook", but definitely not what I was expecting.
It's nice to see sort of the tale before Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace joined up. The inclusion of Pauline Baynes' illustrations is also nice, but I do not like the fact that we see illustrations that have nothing to do with the VDT story (like Shasta and Aravis in HHB and Puddleglum with Jill and Eustace in SC). I can see where they would have problems with limited resources, but it just doesn't work (at least for those of us who are familiar with these illustrations).
It's hard to say much because this isn't (or is it?....) the whole thing. Yes, it is just a little special feature, but it's not my thing. Really not what I expected at all from the descritption.

I find it hilariously ironic that they would use the illustration of the DT crew marching into the Lone Islands to meet with Gumpas in that.
ooh that was epic!
that's Ben Barnes voice, right? it sure sounds like him!

I want to see more of that!! Really liked it!
I thought it was neat how Ben recorded it and it was meant to be Caspian telling the Pevensies what had happened since they were last in Narnia.
"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter
I liked it It was pretty cool. I like how they used Pauline Bayne's illustrations. They had a similar feature on the LWW dvd with the Narnian timeline.
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
So cool! I wish i can finish it all but it's night and I work tomorrow. Once I get the DVD next month I'll finish it.

So, is Ben Barnes really voicing this, or it is an actor whose voice sounds exactly like him?
I'm pretty sure its not Ben Barnes. But i guess you could find out.

Really? I'm pretty sure it is Barnes. I mean why else have Caspian narrate it?

Doesn't sound anything like Ben Barnes to me. It's kind of irritating. I would have thought they would at least try to get someone who has the same type of accent.
I'm still about 99.99% sure it is Ben Barnes... It sounds just like his voice in VDT. Specifically the lines, "How in the world did you end up here?", "If you think you're so brave..." and "Yes, you're in Narnia" come to mind. (Remember he faked the PC accent so you can't go off of that)
