My first thought was that the music is utterly lovely! I hope the whole of David Arnold's track is as pleasing as his work was in this trailer.
It's very unlikely that the music in the trailer is from Arnold's score. For one thing, it's way to early for it to be finished now. Besides, it doesn't sound anything like his style at all.
Maybe I have a bad ear for accents, but Caspian's accent didn't sound all that different to me.
Seriously?
How would Lucy know where to go?
The Dufflepuds open the door for her would be my guess.
But if the whole house is invisible, she wouldn't know where to go after that. It's my guess she wouldn't see anything to go by! Unless she just walks around in midair (if she goes up steps in the magician's house, that just sounds to me like it would end up looking very strange).
Some of the CGI looks just plain awful -- Reepicheep and Aslan look very unfinished.
So I'm not the only one who thought Reepicheep looked strange.
With regard to the music featured in the trailer, Adamie mentoned in the comments section that the music was the same as in the Robin Hood trailer, and he is correct on that (its in Trailer #2 for Robin Hood to be specific).
The main piece in question is apparently "Conviction" by Full Tilt: Groove Addicts, and can be heard in full here:

The inside of the house didn't look too invisible to me in the trailer.
Does anyone know what the music in the very beginning of the trailer is? It's beautiful, but I haven't been able to find where it's from.

That's why I can't figure out if the house itself is invisible or not, lol!
Edit: Another trailer goes by without mention of the seven lords?

I think the "lost souls" quote was probably in reference to the seven lords? I don't know, it's the only thing that makes much sense.

Bookwyrm, what are you talking about? In general the CGI is much improved from the first trailer. Besides the Dawn Treader at sea and Reepicheep in the sunlight - that CGI looked a bit undercooked. Otherwise, I thought it was very good.
Pretty much what Lucy P. said. The Dawn Treader sailing looks shockingly fake and Reep looks terrible, which is really surprising because the previous shots of him looked fairly decent.
I am aware that she shouldn't ever be in the form of a ball, as Narnian stars are supposed to always have a human form. Is that what's bothering you? Maybe that's just how she looks on the way down. But the glowing humanoid form, that's how stars are supposed to look all the time right? Looks like they did it right to me, but I could be wrong. Could you help me out?
I don't mind the fact that she glows when in human form, though I think it could have been done much, much better. I have an issue with them making Narnian stars into little floating UFOs. There's nothing in the books to indicate they have two different forms. Also, Narnian stars don't go back and forth from the sky to Narnia. Ramandu was on his island only because he was regenerating. To change this smacks of the "Oooo, wouldn't this be cool if..." reasoning that led to horrible decision-making in the last movie.
Let me know when you find in the book where it says definitively that she's a half-star and I'll be ok with your comment here. I have no problem with her being a star. Lewis never says she isn't one. What I won't like (if they do this) is her reappearing over several different islands besides Ramandu's Island. But as icarus pointed out, it looks like she IS appearing on Ramandu's Island in this shot because you can just barely see the table with food.
I don't really have that much of a problem with her being a star, but like I said up there ^ Narnian stars never look like glowing balls of gas and they don't pop back and forth randomly. If you remember in LB, they came down to Narnian all glowing white and fiery in definite human form and they only came down because the world was ending.
I think PR is right about the lost souls being a reference to the Seven Lords. Though it's entirely possible that voiceover by Caspian has absolutely nothing to do with the Sea of Lilies scene it's used in.

I never pay attention to where they place voiceovers in the trailer. They are almost always misleading. I'm sure he doesn't say that on the Sea of Lilies.

Oh I suppose I can concede that argument to you. Really, the turning into a ball doesn't bother me all that much, but like I said elsewhere, I am concerned about her constantly disappearing and reappearing. IF (and this is a big if) she's a star they're to follow and then appears to them ONCE on Ramandu's Island when they arrive to inform them how to wake the last sleeping Lords (or save Narnia from an unfathomable fate or whatever ) and then doesn't do it again til they return to the island, I'm ok with that.
I'm did think her arrival today was much better done than her departure we saw in the first trailer.
I guess I could tolerate it if she's a star in the sky for most of the movie, but to me it looks like she goes back and forth pretty frequently. That one scene from the first trailer looks like it occurs on board the ship. Then we have another shot of her standing next to a creepy tree. And finally we have her on Ramandu's Island. Doesn't look like she going to be staying a star unfortunately.

Wow, sorry for the mega quote!
I was kinda thinking it would work in an unusual way (Like the Dufflepuds' weapons; "They become visible when they leave our hands"). Maybe it's only invisible from outside, and once you step in you can see what's around you.
I'm not sure about the obvious shrubbery where the House should go, though! Maybe it's a magical illusion? Seems a bit too complicated.
Concerning CGI, I thought the DT and Reepicheep positively awful, but I noticed right away the improvement on the arrivals of Coriakin and Lilliandil. I actually like those shots! (Not that I approve of the treatment of Lilliandil as a star. IMO, that makes things a little awkward for her and Caspian!)

I didn't even realize it was different either. I think maybe that's because Ben slips back to his natural accent sometimes in PC. I like his native accent much better than the overly dramatized "Inigo Montoya" version anyway.
Too bad about the music not being Arnold's, I really like it.

Love love LOVE the invisible doorway. (If they polish up the CGI, this is going to be far the best of the movies from a visual standpoint. Great art direction throughout.)
The "lost souls" bit definitely snagged me. They better be talking about the Seven Lords!!!
Everything else was fine.

This trailer has a theme. The first trailer was a bunch of random shots strung together in a sequence.
This trailer leaves me with the feeling of excitement about being "summoned" back to Narnia, and curiosity about what exactly the reason might be. It also has a sense of urgency at the end. A feeling that there is something that has to be accomplished, and that something is on the line. The first trailer had nothing of the sort.
I'm not saying it's a great trailer. It's still kind of choppy, and ends very abruptly. But at least it leaves me with something. The first trailer made me go "yuck."
