Okay, so how would you feel? I personally would be willing to sign a petition to send to Walden Media about this issue, but I want to know how other Narniawebbers feel?

I would be dissapointed, but it wouldnt bother me too much. There was a time where I once believed they were the same. I recently changed my mind.
Still even if they were the same, Tilda shouldnt play her. The Lady of the Green Kirtle is suppossed to be the most beautiful alluring woman in the world. In the VotDT trailer, the White Witch looks downright creepy.
Also even if they were the same, the theory was that the Lady of the Green Kirtle was the WW in another form/body. No one really believes teh Lady of the Green Kirlte looks like Jadis. So casting Tilda is a definite no for me.
Still, it wouldnt ruin the movie for me if they got the rest right.
Winter Is Coming
You know that if they decide the witches are the same person they will want Tilda Swinton to play her. Afterall, Narnia has to be like Harry Potter remember?

I would hate it but nothing short of immorality would make me boycott the films.
I really don't think I can capture in words how awful that would be. Just...wow. Capital letters and exclamation points wouldn't do it justice so I won't try.
I would likley boycott the film, which would break my heart. I want to see Puddleglum come to life. But I would have to draw the line there.
I would feel very hurt, and would lose all respect for Walden Media.
I would be seriously disappointed. To me, it would say the Walden Media had gone down the drain and stooped lower than ever if they used Tilda as the LotGK just as an excuse to get her in the film. Her reappearance in VDT was bad enough. However, nothing, with (maybe) the exception of a strong PG-13 rating, would convince me to boycott the film. I love the Narnia stories too much to miss out on an adaptation of one of them, even if it isn't a very faithful adaptation. The only thing that would make me boycott it is if they completely slaughtered the storyline and ruined the spirituality of it and/or gave it a strong PG-13 or R rating (which is pretty extreme, I'll admit, since this is Walden Media we're talking about). So, yes, I'm worried about it, but the happening of our worse nightmare won't be enough for me to abandon the movie altogether.
