Amazing. Those clips are far more intriguing and fantastic than the trailers. I wonder if they chose to release these specifically because they are so close to what we know and love from the book. Either way, it doesn't matter.
I love the dialogue. It doesn't sound cheesy or anachronistic, which was a problem I had with the other two films.
I love the hint we got of Eustace as a dragon. And it looks like we have a body for the Lord Octesian, rather than speculation as to his exact fate, as in the book.
My observations on the 3 clips...
First Clip: Eustace is writing in his journal when Edmund and Lucy arrive home from grocery shopping. Cool to see how Eustace tucks the Journal into his sock, explaining how he came to bring it into Narnia with him. Will Poulters performance in these scenes did at first strike me as a little odd. A somewhat strange sort of voice (incidentally, if anyone still doubts that the "Weirder and Weirder" quote in the first trailer was him, here is your proof) though if you contrast it with the subsequent clips, you will see how his voice and entire demeanor change throughout the movie.
Second Clip: Very interesting in that it seems to show that the Dragon Cave is now more of a valley/dry river bed - probably part of how they have tied together the Deathwater + Dragon Island merger into "Goldwater", to give the island some sort of consistent theme. I also find it somewhat odd that Caspian and Edmund should stumble upon the Dragon treasure as well, but thats not too much of a big deal.
What is more of a big deal here though, is that Eustace is seen to take the arm ring off the skeleton of Lord Octesian - i.e. there is now no possibility of Lord Octesian being the dying Dragon that Eustace first encounters when he reaches the valley (i'd imagine they have ditched that bit altogether)
Third Clip: Also very interesting in this clip is that it has Eustace talking about being very recently undragoned on their final row to Aslans Country - which does seem to confirm that after being “Dragoned” on the newly merged together “Goldwater Island” (seemingly the third island in the new sequencing and probably the middle section of the moive), that he will spend the rest of the movie as a dragon (through Ramandu’s Island and Dark Island) and only just becomes a boy again in time for the end. A big departure for sure, but it is reassuring to here some lines directly from the book here.
Did anyone else pick up that Eustace calls Edmund and Lucy orphans in the first clip?
Eeeepppp!!! Spoilers!
1st clip:
Eustace has a diary! Lucy's looking into a mirror. They changed the non-rhyming rhyme. In that scene in the book, Edmund tries to ignore Eustace, here he's playing back with him. . . And, orphans?? How are Ed and Lu orphans???
2nd clip:
Good, what little we see. Very happy to see Drinian! Gael still seems unnecessary. As icarus said, it looks like Octesian was killed by the dragon, rather then being the dragon, which I always kind of preferred to think.
3rd clip:
Still mad Caspian's in the boat. Looks like Eustace is changed back to a boy rather late, as they're asking about what it was like at this point.

I didn't really think twice about the "Orphans" quote - i simply assumed that Eustace was using the typical convention of Fairy Tales having young protagonists who are orphans to mock the Pevensies for reading such books, as he does througout the scene. Though now that you mention it, i definitely wouldn't rule anything crazy like that out. Especially since Gael seems to be far more involved in the movie then most people have let themselves believe.
If Gael is also an orphan, or at least has been separated from her mother, as is rumored, it would definitely give her and Lucy something in common, something to bond over. That is assuming that somehow the Pevensies' parents are killed off in the movie.
I have to say, it was nice to see Gael in a tiny clip. she's been "MLG" so long, and still is, but I like being able to see her move - if that makes sense
these clips make me so happy! I am now very giddy and I will be for a while! it's nice to finally see Eustace doing things!

This is only a theory, but I wonder if possibly it could be a replacement scene for their confrontation on Goldwater Island in the book? Considering that Dragon Island and Goldwater have been merged.
^^ that's a good theory! in the Goldwater scene in the book, there are bones and chain mail and rings on the ground.....

I love that he apologizes and Edmund forgives him. Love how he kind of reminded me of Edmund in the third clip! Love Edmund's rhyme about Eustace in the first clip an dhim and Lucy laughing. He reminded me of Peter in LWW.

I was just thinking - why are Caspian and Edmund rowing in the last clip? I mean, in PC, Peter rowed the boat by himself.....
