What did everyone think of the torch being in this movie? I absolutely loved it! It was a fun way to tie Prince Caspian to VotDT together!

It was a little cheesy and a bit cheeky, but it was cute. It's not that far fetched that someone would have found it and given it to Caspian. It's a little more odd that he would bring it on the trip... And that Ed would use it to fight the sea monster, but I thought it was cute.
What? Oh wow, I can't wait to see that part...yet at the same time it seems corny...

I LOVED IT TOO!!!!!!! It tied in PC with VDT and i really liked that!!! It was a nice touch to the movie also
I thought it was really funny, especially because Lucy had her dagger and cordial... and Susan's horn and bow were there, and Peter's sword. And then they pull out Edmund's torch. Anyway, I laughed.

I think it was overboard...Edmund lost it in the castle raid and it was probably dissected by some scientists before they got back as rulers...besides the opinion that theres too much of PC in the movie
no longer active. every once in a while ill pop back for the memories. good to see a few recognizable names 🙂
The torch was terrific! Though I sort of wished that Edmund would have gotten to bring it back with him.
I honestly laughed out loud at that part because I LOVED it. I found it a nice touch of humor and a really good tie-in.

I liked that it was brought, that its battery still worked (wow, I want one like that), and that it was used in the adventure.
I didn't like its being used like Dr Who taunting a nasty alien.(Did one of the writers use to work on Dr Who, or did they just like the programme?)
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
I liked it. I thought that it was a great way to tie the two films together.
However, there were five teenage boys (I'd say about 17), who were making fun of the movie, laughing, and saying, "Oh, yeah, they'd have flashlights?". They were getting up to go somewhere about every 15 minutes and then coming back. I wanted to either explain it to them or punch them in the face, as they were annoying me so[i/] much.
Lets go SC!
I actually really loved it. And I thought it was interesting that Ed wasn't as happy to see it. I thought that Caspian might have saved a sword for him or something, but I was happy with the torch.

I found it really odd that Caspian would keep all of the Pevensies' old stuff on the DT.

I don't think it's odd at all that Caspian kept the Torch with all the other magical gifts, think about it, he has no idea what electricity is or how it works. For all Caspian knows, it's a metal stick that lights up! In a magical world like Narnia, you would assume that was magical! I thought it was brilliant and very funny, especially because Caspian looked completely innocent and clueless, he had no idea how insignificant the 'treasure' was!

I remember, at the beginning of all the movie speculation, I totally called that the torch would return in this movie. And I was right.
