Just wanted to know what people thought of this decision since it was originally released... do you think it will look alright on the big screen, help the box office, inspire marketing to focus solely on the matter of the movie being in 3D, etc.
I think its a good choice since 3D is in high demand at the moment, but am not sure if this may detract from viewers because of the raised price

Over all I think it's a great decision. VDT is a fantastic story and i'm positive it'll show on the big screen and yes I believe it will drag in audiences who love 3D. I think it will be fine!

Nope, I personally don't care much for 3D, I don't think it adds much to any given movie experience and how the whole 3D thing is handled by the industry (Especially when they add a hefty price tag to a movie for a 3D showing when the projector doesn't do anything different and they actually use the same projectors for the 2D showings).
With this having VDT in 3D as a decision is nothing more than trend-hunting by the production and hoping that it will reel in more money that way (which is likely if they get a share of the hefty 3D tag the theatres charge).

well, things could be worse! it's annoying to me, but I just won't see it in 3D and if others like it in 3D, then so be it!
