I can't even remember it. Will keep an eye out for it when I go see the movie again later this week. Really though, they have to come out with an extended edition of this movie. Every single scene in the whole thing, until the Sea Serpent fight and the end, is so short it's ridiculous sometimes.

The second time I watched this film I leaned over to my friend at this point and said: "Well OK, Mr. Negativity." Now every time I watch this scene that's what I think of. It, in and of itself, adds nothing to the film except to facilitate the time crunch, -and it does so unsuccessfully I think.

I agree with the need for a finished extended edition. A few deleted scenes on the DVD JUST WON'T CUT IT.

I think there was more to every scene in this movie.

Yeah, that scene felt totally shoe-horned into the movie. It was like they were editing the movie and suddenly realized it would be nice to make it clear that they didn't know if they would find the lords. So they called Ben, grabbed a camera, made a set in Apted's garage, shot the scene, ran back to the editing lab, and cut it into the scene.

Most of the scenes feel like that to me.

There are quite obviously so many deleted scenes/ extended scenes in this movie!?
What I want to know is why? Why would you cut out all these bits that you already spent time and money shooting! I mean I understand that the film needs editing but did they really need to cut out so much that we notice things like this and the story seems to have so many plot holes! An extended edition is deffinatly the way forward...I'm sure it would explain a lot and make the film more enjoyable! :) Bring it on!

I even wonder what our chances are of seeing an extended version. For a film that had a lower budget, didn't have impressive box office and taking into account the decline of DVD sales over the past few years, is Fox/Walden really going to push for another version out there to try to sell? Hm.

So I can't remember where this scene was. Are we talking about the scene that was next to the other 10 second scene between Lucy and Gael?

Check out "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Last Battle" trailers I created!

Yea, I thought this scene was weird too. And then I watched the deleted scenes on the DVD and was like, OK, that makes a little more sense.

I agree with some other people that the movie definetly had pacing issues. I posted in another thread about how short the movie made the voyage seem. To me, it seemed like the whole voyage could have taken place in a week when in actuality, it took at least three (from my calculations), probably more. If the movie were a bit longer, just extending some of those short scenes like this one with Edmund and Caspian, would probably help.
