I think that the dragon needs to be hinted at, because who doesn't want to see a good dragon in a movie? If we got the two pre-viz shots from the PC DVD, of the dragon shadow over the ocean, and the sea serpent leaping out of the water, that would be great! I could see those shots fitting perfectly into a trailer!!!

I would love to see the next trailer have some things that make people ask questions. Not the "what were they thinking" questions--the kind that make people want to see the movie to get the questions answered. Examples I can think of:
Caspian saying that they are on a quest to make people wonder what kind of quest.
I'd really like to see a portion of the scene where they are captured by Pug. Maybe a shot of them locked in a dungeon. If I had seen the last two movies and hadn't read the books I would wonder why Edmund and Lucy are being held prisoner and if Edmund is going to fight their way out because he had such awesome fight scenes in the last movie.
A shot of Caspian with Lord Bern looking back at the rest of them tied up. To make people ask "Why is Caspian the only one not tied up?" "Why is he walking away from them?"
If they are going to show a fight scene, it needs to involve the principle characters, not some random faun. A short scene that involves the characters I have spent the last two movies becoming invested in fighting for their lives would make me want to see the movie to see how they get out of the situation.
I think they need to explain who Eustace is--how he is related to the Pevensies and how annoyed they are with him. Will Poulter portrays annoying really well and I think people would go and see that. If only in the hopes of seeing Edmund take him down a notch or two.
They need to show something that needs explaining. The best example of that, in my opinion would be the water pump on Dufflepud island that is moving up and down by itself. Or something like that.
Maybe a shot of the storm. Or show the ship after the sea serpent attack to make people wonder what happened to it.
The last trailers didn't, in my opinion, do anything to make the audience curious. Make them ask questions so that they go to see the movie just to see why Edmund and Lucy are being held captive, who that bratty little kid is that Edmund looks about ready to punch, why is the ship missing its mast during part of the movie, who are the invisible people that make things move seemingly by themselves?
Enough with the magicians house. I'm glad its in the movie, but it seems like that's the only part they want us to see. Its not going to make people want to see the movie. Especially if they see it in every trailer. And from the reviews I saw of the last movie, the last thing they should do is anything that make this movie look like a LOTR knock-off. Dawn Treader is not a copycat movie and can stand on its own.
I know some want the dragon to be a big reveal, but I could go either way on that. Those who have not read the book will just think they encounter a dragon along the way. Those who have read the book already know the significance of the dragon. And it would look impressive.
^^I, too, would love to see some more of The Lone Islands scene(s)! I want to see that SO badly! it's going to be amazing!

I think the reason they keep showing a lot of the scenes from the Magician's Library is because these are the only "finished shots" so far, and this was all they had to offer in the trailers. I could be wrong though, but, just a guess!
