I think they defenitely need to show more of Eustace, Caspian, Ramandu, the Seven Lords, the Islands, Narrowhaven the Sea Serpent, and Eustace as a Dragon.

I really want some more Eustace, Caspian, some more Island shot, some of the lords, perhaps Lord Bern in Narrowhaven and something that explains the seven swords better.

What i don't want to see is Eustace as a dragon or the Sea serpent. I hate it that trailers these days spoil everything for the viewers. You could say, don't watch trailers, but i never can resist to watch. A good example of this is 'Clash of The Titans'. I mean they show you the scorpions, Medusa, Pegasus, Djinn, Stygian Whitches. We even had a good view of the Kraken for 5 seconds!
How i would want Eustace as dragon in the trailer is that for example Edmund says: 'Where is Eustace?' and everyone looks around until suddenly they hear a roar in the distance and a big giant shadow appears above the 'Dawn Treader'. Now that would be great. That should suffice. People will now there's a dragon in it, and fans already knew this of course.

I guess that's a good idea Rilian The Disenchanted, but then again, I've talked to some people, and they're more excited to be seeing Harry Potter 7 than VDT, because it looks "boring." I think they SHOULD be showing more of the CG and action shots, because we NEED to rake in the money, we NEED more movies!!!

I want to see more of Caspian and Eustace. Ed and Lu have had their share of the screen already. Maybe some of the lords too.

I would also like to see more of the islands. So far we've only seen sets of places. No on-location shots as far as I'm concerned. A trailer with only artificial places...not my type of movie.

And I hope it's more interesting or crowd-drawing. This trailer to be honest was kind of..kiddish. Maybe if they make the plot more obvious that would help.

And one more thing...NO MORE WHITE WITCH!!!! She's not the main antagonist there...is she?

Yeah I wouldn't mind that, unless this time they give an actual plotline to the next trailer. Your friends probably found it boring because it showed no plotline.

After watching the trailer x number of times, I decided that what I would like to see most in the next trailer would be:

An impressive shot or two of the Dawn Treader sailing along.
At least one shot of the crew in action aboard the Dawn Treader.
Some crew members saying something.
A bit more of Eustace being Eustace.[/list2b0r9ats]

I think they should hold off on the Sea Serpent and Dragon Eustace or show them in an indirect way. Like show the shadow of Dragon Eustace or the reaction of the crew as the Sea Serpent gets closer.

It will be interesting what the next trailer shows or emphasizes.

There is definitely no "a" in definite.
The Mind earns by doing; the Heart earns by trying.

This is what I'd love to see:

1. More of Eustace as a dragon and a boy!

2. More Reepicheep (I'd like to see him and Eustace not getting along )

3. A glimpse of Ramundu (if he's in the movie).

4. More Caspian, including lines without the Telmarine accent!

5. Scenes of Goldwater Island.

6. Scenes of Narrowhaven.

7. A longer scene with Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace at Alberta's house.

8. More of Gael!

9. Finally, a better idea of the plot with the seven swords and such.

I hope the next trailer comes out soon!

But if there IS one person to safely focus on to bring audiences back in, it's Lucy. She's without a doubt, the favorite character in the first two movies. And she doesn't have a small role in the book either. Personally I think she's just as much of a main character as Caspian and Eustace. And the movie is the culmination of her character arc throughout the series. Yes, she returns for HHB and LB, but she's a very minor character in both of those books. So this is her goodbye. (And Edmund's too, though his role isn't very big in VDT by comparison)

That's a sound analysis, Watchful Admin. But I do think that in the next or final trailers they should have a bit more emphasis on another character or characters just to let the general audience know that there is more going on in the story than just Lucy.

I think Lucy could still be prominent but they should also in some way highlight Edmund or Eustace or Coriakin or Caspian or even the DT crew a bit more. (IMHO)

Ditto! I REALLY want to see more of Caspian and the more action stuff in the movie, they are leaving out a lot of major points. Another thing is they are putting a lot of scenes that were in the last one, such as Lucy in the room and its snowing, and Aslan roaring, etc. I definitely want to see more ACTION!

But there isn't a lot of action in VDT. There shouldn't even be a proper battle, though we know they've shoehorned in fight scenes from the bits we've seen and heard about.

well, theres the sea serpent...that is kind of like a battle...but not really. It definitely is a lot of action though. Yeah, now that I think about it, there really isn't that much action... you're right!

Now that two trailers have came out now, I think I know what I want to see now. I want to see more of Caspian and if they can I want them to show something romantic between him and Lilliandil. More of Eustace, perhaps of him going on his own adventure before he is a dragon, and more of Edmund please.
