Here is my list of things that need to be shown in the trailer

1. The plot

2. Eustace and Caspian

3. No White Witch or Peter or Susan...lets not have misleading advertising thank you.

4. More special effects shots (done well) and a full view of the Dawn Treader.

5. Better music

6. NO VOICEOVERS!!! The taglines in the LWW and PC trailers were much more effective without the voiceovers.

7. A few shots of the Sea Serpant and Dragon Eustace

8. A more serious tone. I hated the cute kiddie feel of the teaser trailer. If you want an audience, you don't show them a trailer that makes them groan.

9. I would like the final shot...for a change of things...to be Dragon Eustace roaring, then we see the Dawn Treader logo. I know we usually see Aslan do the trailer's final roar...but lets face it, its becoming almost cliche.

Okay, time to get our hopes up! Things I'd like to see:

1. More of Eustace. He's a new character in this film, but he's also a main character in this one and in SC and LB, if they ever make those films. They need to start introducing him! Especially since, as far as I've seen so far, they've casted him perfectly.

2. Show Dragon Eustace, just bit. I don't want them to try and make it seem more than it really is, just enough to make people interested.

3. I wanna know more about the plot. I mean, technically, I know exactly what the plot should be, but I want to know more about what it is now, what they've changed and such.

Oh, and one more thing: can we get maybe a disclaimer, or an apology or something that says something along the lines of: "Sorry for that clip of the White Witch in the last trailer, that wasn't supposed to be there, we've cut her out of this film." Just kidding. That'll never happen.

EDIT: Just thought of something else. I'd like the trailer to show a bit about Reepicheep's personal quest to reach Aslan's Country, maybe mention the Dryad's verse. No spoilers, of course.

We may know what the plot should be, but i sort of want to know what the plot actually is in the film. Because honestly i am not really sure.

I'm hoping to see Eustace as a dragon, the lords and the seven swords, Susan and peter in England(not in narnia), more of Caspian, Eustace, and Lilliandil, and the sea serpent.

Me too! And their capture on the island!

yeah I want to see clips of them getting caught by Pug!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Some good ideas have been espoused for the next trailer.

I am currently rereading VDT and thought it would be alright to show a glimpse of Deathwater Island; maybe a look at or into a certain pool.

I think they should just hint at Dragon Eustace by showing a shadow or something. Maybe the Sea Serpent could be shown a bit; the storm also.

More shots of the Dawn Treader sailing would be nice as well as some shots of other characters like Drinian, Rhince, Rynelf, Goveror Gumpas, Pug, one of Lord Bern maybe, or even Gael.

Some shots of an island or two would also be nice. There is a lot that can shown and conveyed in a short time; 'twill be interesting to see what it is when the next trailer is released.

^^ I want to see Eustace wacking Gumpas in the face with that paddle. I've been laughing about that ever since the footage we got of it last year.

I would like to see:

-- Something on the missing lords. Anything on the missing lords.
-- More of Eustace. Maybe some interaction between Eustace and Reepicheep.
-- Not the dragon itself. I would love to see, maybe, its shadow extending on the ground.
-- And I would like to see more of Lilliandil, of course.

Some of these may have been mentioned already, but here's what I would like to see in the next trailer:

~ EustaceDragon, or at least his shadow. Dragons are popular these days, and I think a glimpse of EustaceDragon would make people interested in the movie. The same goes for the sea serpent. I would love to see a shot of the sea serpent too, but I doubt we'd get both in one trailer.

~ The Seven Lords! This movie is about the quest to find them, I hope. The trailer should at least MENTION that.

~ Something to explain that Eustace is the Pevensies' cousin. Maybe a shot of Edmund and Lucy in the bedroom, remarking how Narnian-looking the painting is, and then Eustace making fun of them for "still playing that old game".

~ Something to explain what the deal is with the seven swords and Gail!

~ More of Eustace and Caspian, of course.

~ Some epic shots of the Dawn Treader.

~ Maybe more of the islands.

~ NO White Witch, please!!!

I want to see some of the seven lords and some of Ramundu's Island!

For some reason, I'd love to hear Caspian mention something about how the Duke of Galma's daughter "squints and has freckles". I always thought that was a funny line in the book. But not in the trailer I guess, in the film.

I think Eustace is definitely something we REALLY need more of in the trailer. He's going to be the hero in the next adaptation, he needs to be properly introduced to the audience a bit more. It's already the end of the "Pevensie Trilogy".

Yeah I'm hoping to see more of Ramandu's Island as well and they don't really have to go over the top with trying to show Eustace too much but yes more clear closeups of him would be perfect. I think they want to save a lot of the newer stuff and bigger stuff until the movie comes out. Trailers are always known for showing the awesome stuff to when you actually see the movie all those awesome scenes are old to you.

I would like to see:
1 Caspian
2 Eustace
3 Eustace as a dragon
4 the sea serpent
5 part of the "lamb to lion" seen

I want to hear Caspian speak like a sentence and not i am king caspian. Save us from that.
