I loathe music. It is distracting and a waste of resources.

Silly Mod 42. Last time we hire replacement mods from Rent-a-Mod. ;))

Ok, you fooled me. I didn't check the date of the post.
I just thought: "What idiot wrote that silly post?!" Now I can calm down. ;)

This music is better than I thought I simply love it and I have it on my mp3 player too and listening to these songs everyday. I have all of the Narnia soundtracks that's been published. I hope the music for the fourth movie will be as great as the other ones!

After Narnia, the LOTR soundtracks are some of my favorites. But anybody seen the price for a new copy of The Fellowship: Complete Recordings? $420!!!!

I'm hoping that the Narnia scores get a "complete recordings" treatment as well, but if they go to that price... yeesh.

Yikes, thats a bit steep! But your right; a complete recordings would be cool :)

I really hope Evanescence performs a final song on one of the films (Maybe SC or LB because of the 'evanescence sound') Because they are great and thay wrote a song for eith LWW or PC (I can't remember witch ATM) but it wasn't used. I think they have the right sound but maybe the song should be written by someone else as Evanescence lyrics can get a bit depressing... :)

Anyone agree that Switchfoot's "This is Home" would have better fit The Last Battle than Prince Caspian?

Both Harry Gregson-Willams' and David Arnold's score are fantastic. Though I do miss some of HGW's choir and drums in Arnold's music, he is really good at composing calm and magical score. :) Oh and yes, Arnold should use more of the famous Narnia main theme. :P

He should have used more of all the themes that carry over, but no, he had to do his own thing. What rubbish.

I did like David Arnold's score for VDT. I don't think it was as good as Harry Gregson-Willams' for LWW or even his own Stargate movie score.

But it did give VDT a distinctive note with the new theme at the beginning. And it was nice to hear the main Narnian theme accompany the Dawn Treader as it sailed along majestically just after the three new crew members arrrived via the painting. :)

I think all were great. Yes, now I understand that LB could work with This is home. I think Wardrobe themes used in PC work really good. They put that music because they remember the viewers that it's a sequel and situations were very well- working with old tracks. The same thing with VDT: themes from LWW and PC were used again. But each time music return in a little changed, new version. For example: in LWW, when Pevensies enter Narnia, it's snowy and they didn't believe Lucy, so the music is concentrated on these feelings. In PC, they are happy because they already suppose that they're in Narnia. Music is happier. OK?

Lucy:Do you remember who really defeated the White Witch?
Peter: Yes.
Susan:No.
Lucy:Do you both believe in Narnia?
Narnians, Caspian and Edmund:We believe.
Susan and Peter:Shut up.

Can anyone tell me the names of the songs used in this PC trailer?

I especially like the songs that start at 1:10 1:25, & 2:30

(the song at 3:00 sounds like something from the last Anikin Skywalker Star Wars film...can't remember what it's called)

Any information on them would be great.

Anyone know how to put a video into a post?

I would have to agree with you that she has to do a song for a future Narnia movie!!!!

Anyone agree that Switchfoot's "This is Home" would have better fit The Last Battle than Prince Caspian?

I have always thought that "This is Home" would be a great LB song! And that doesnt mean that they still cant use it! I think it would be sweet if they used the original version for the last battle. Since that song came out I have pictured everyone one running "further up and further in" in slow motion, laughing and giggling to that song at the end of the movie. I just think it fits so well!

Also I found an awesome song by Gungor that I feel would work well for the credits of Magician's Nephew! It is called Beautiful Things. Tell me what you think. It wouldnt have to be the first song. Just somewhere in the credits!

Further up, Further in.
