Perhaps I am completely wrong, but I'm still not convinced that the clip of the Pevensies is actually going to be in the movie. No doubt there'll be a Susan/Peter cameo somewhere in there (either at the beginning or end of the movie). But I think that particular clip is a marketing thing, meant to capture the interest of people who have seen the first two movies. Though, why they are wearing Narnian clothes beats me. Because it's a Narnia trailer, I guess?
Then again, maybe this is all just wishful thinking...

I just can't imagine them doing that. It was one thing to have Caspian say i am Prince Caspian it is another thing to make up shots like this just to have them in the trailer.
I mean i get using the White Witch and using the Pevensies if they are in the film in some form to try and get people back. I do not get them making up shots that are not in the film to get people back. That seems sort of out of line.

That's the whole thing about trailers, they are gimmicks with how they are put together. We never saw certain things from the LWW trailer or the PC trailer. This is probably that scene that wont be in the movie. Everything else besides this seemed accurate in the trailer will definitely have to be shown in the movie if you really think about it.

Accurate? Ramandu's daughter turned into a glowing ball of light after give the group guidance and then shot into the air. That is anything by accurate.
There may have been some deleted scenes in LWW, but a deleted shot is different then making up shots with characters that are not in the film at all just to bring in viewers. I mean if they are in the film i understand using those shots to bring in people. I do not understand fabricating shots to bring in an audience.
I don't think that is what is happening here.

I think that right now everything is possible concerning these shots. We've already seen all the strange marketing going on with this movie, for all we know we could be way off. Personally, I'm not rejecting any idea entirely.

For one thing decarus, Ramandu's daughter is the daughter of a star. I think anyone could see something like that coming.
Again to me these series of shots of the Pevensies look far too comercial rather then a scene for something theatrical.

^ They do look rather commercial

Actually when it comes to Ramandu's daughter it bothers me a lot more that she seems to be giving them guidance then that she turned into a ball of glowing light and shot into the air. I think it looked sort of weird that she was glowing and that she turned into a ball of light. I don't at all like that she seems to be guiding them in some way on the quest.
So you really think that they fabricated shots of these characters just for the trailer? That is really bad form in my opinion. I just can't imagine that is what is going on here. Also all of the Narnia films are too commercial. That is one of their major problems. They keep trying to make commercial films instead of good ones. So just because the shots look too commercial doesn't mean they aren't in the film.

I don't think you should blame this crew for trying to make RD a bigger character. If Prince Caspian wouldn't have made the changes they did like Suspian then this probably wouldn't happen, but they got to fix it somehow.
As for fabricated shots they did it for Prince Caspian's trailer. "I am Prince Caspian" was a way to get swoon teenage girls to see the movie. Showing all the Pevensie's will bring audiences of the first two films to come back for familiar faces. Why do you think Eustace wasn't shown that much? and why Aslan said "Your adventure begins now."? It's all a gimmick.

I agree that they are showing them when they are not going to be in the film much, but i can't imagine them fabricating shots in this way. I understood the i am prince caspian shot because they were trying to introduce a new character and so they created that shot. I don't think that they did it too make teenage girls swoon.
I think they reason they are showing the shots of the pevensies and the white witch and reepicheep is because they are the known characters and people will be like hey another narnia i will see that. I think they did a terrible job last time with making the connection between PC and LWW and they need to do a better job this time.
The film is where you introduce new characters not in the marketing. In the marketing you make the connection to the known characters which is what they are doing. I still don't think that means they fabricated these shots and if they did then that is ridiculous.

Well i agree with that, but i don't agree that the shots fabricated just for the purpose of bringing back the old characters. That just seems ridiculous.

Why is it ridiculous? It's a gimmick. They'll probably be shown at the beginning in England. They are shown in earth clothes on the poster.

I also think the shot...if not a flashback...was created simply for the purpose of marketign and won't be in the film.
Just look at the "i'm cool and fearless" way they are walking. It just seems like something a trailer would do as no one walks like that in real life.
Winter Is Coming
It isn't real life. It's a movie. Probably the strangest thing is that they are looking into the camera.
If that is what they are doing then they should not have done it. Though as i said i am not buying that that is what they are doing.
