I'm not dismissing the possibility that this shot could be in the movie. Anything is possible. But if it is in the movie, I don't understand where they would put it, or why.
To me, it seems more likely that it was created specifically for the trailer. The way they're walking is just so unnatural, and I can't see Michael Apted filming a scene like that for anything but marketing purposes.
Well i agree with that, but i don't agree that the shots fabricated just for the purpose of bringing back the old characters. That just seems ridiculous.
It does seem ridiculous, I agree. And I'm not saying that fabricating a scene for the sake of marketing purposes is at all the right thing to do. I just think it is the most logical explanation.

Ok I can't remember whether I said it here or in the general trailer thread, but I'm taking back my previous hypothosis that it was originally from PC. A second look has revealed to me that they are entirely different shots.
I'm pretty sure however that they won't appear in Narnia (unless its a dream) because otherwise they'd probably have pages on narnia.com.

Well i guess there is the possibility that if this darkness causes people to see their dreams or nightmares that these shots could be a dream, maybe a bad dream of Caspian's.
There are no clouds in the sky. There is only the open sun and the Lord watches.
Ah yes, maybe Caspian dreams he sees each of the four Pevensies (or all at once) in the location with the pillars, and something awful happens - maybe they condemn him or berate him.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
That was my idea way back when the trailer came out. Nice to see someone finally thinks it's a possibility.
I just hate the idea of having a bunch of dreams in the film and i think usually things are not a dream, but now that there seems to be a possibility that the darkness is the threat in this film. Then i think that it is more of a possibility that there will be dreams or nightmares in the film. We will see.

Hmm. Now that you mention it, wolfloversk, these clips do remind me of that scene from PC where the four Pevensies arrive at Aslan's How and walk under all the centaurs' swords. The way they're walking seems strikingly similar...alright. So I guess it's possible this could be a dream/flashback, but I still hope it's just a trailer-only clip...

I agree with Silver... it does remind me of that scene in PC! Maybe it is one of Caspian's dreams? Or just a flashback in general. I sincerely hope so.

Honestly I doubt that Pete and Susan will be in Narnia actually. Probably a dream sequence or something of the sort.
Unfortunately for us longtime fans, there are still many people in the world who are simply fans of the movies-- hence the tie-ins to the previous movies. (Peter and Susan, White Witch, etc.) I don't really have a problem with it as long as they're not in there for long ( as in, seen for a few split seconds. )

I don't think they will actually be in the journey because at the end of the 2nd film, their absence has been confirmed.
In the leaked script it said Caspian would have dreams about Lilliandil. I would hope he doesn't dream about Peter and coughSusancough..

I would be against this idea, but my intial thought ws that Peter and Susan somehow already died, and arrive in Aslan's Country when Edmund and Lucy do. This would be ridiculous though, because they already made references to TLB in the PC movie. Susan in the only Pevensie who does not die and arrive in Aslan's Country, and this would be a major, major, MAJOR difference from the book, and would alter the outcome of the remainder of the series.

Please if you are going to ruin the end of the series you should say so before you do it. It is just too good to ruin.
I think that it is likely that this is in someway a dream. I agree that there had better not be any romantic moments about Susan and Caspian even in a dream. Just let it go.

I agree 100% with you decarus, but if it is true I doubt that it will be something romantic. They are all being put to the test right? Caspian in the books and obviously in these movies is a very shallow/ a bit cocky person. Perhaps if he does have a dream about Susan it will possibly have Lilliandil in it as well. It can be a forced dream that Aslan gives him instead of a desirable dream because he still thinks about her 9which he shouldn't, it's been years to him now) It's a test of true love, thus his falling in love with Lilliandil will prompt the audiences that he is moved on and doesn't love Susan.

I sort of hate the idea that it is a dream, but i think that is most likely since there seems to be a suggestion that Caspian will see Ramandu's daughter in dreams. I think the idea that Caspian would see the Pevensies somehow in a dream is not that much of a stretch.
The only reason that i think that it could be something else is that Edmund and Lucy are wearing the clothes they are wearing on the Dawn Treader instead of something similar to what Peter and Susan are wearing. We will see.
This could also be someones nightmare.
