Well, at least we can be thankful that the new synopsis makes no mention about the "unfathomable fate", which indicates it is not SO important to the movie plot that it has to be in every single synopsis.

for all we know, everything is fine with the plot line and we are needlessly panicking! like Farsight1 said, we don't know until we see the completed movie how things will turn out!!!!!

They didn't delete the phrase. They deleted the entire synopsis and replaced it with a different one. This means nothing.

Gonna have to agree with gP on this one, though for a different reason. We saw the "unfathomable fate" line after the final script was finished. I'm not holding out hope on this one. Though I WILL say it's a much better synopsis.

Either way, you have to be careful about trusting ANY synopsis. The first synopsis describes the Dufflepuds as "magical." I doubt that will be the case. A synopsis is all about marketing, and therefore tend to exaggerate.

This doesn't really mean there is no unfathomable fate or soul-eating cave, but the less we hear about it, the better! Tat would have been a real nightmare. I guess, the less we hear about it, the better the movie will be, and then it will make more money and we might see silver chair! WOHOOOO!

I never really worried about that "magical" word. I always assumed they meant that the dufflepuds are magical creatures, like centaurs are magical creatures, and not that thy are able to use magic, like centaurs are not able to use magic.

You're right about the whole synopsis thing. They are meant to make the movie look good, so that it sells. That's why I never worried that much (but I worried about it, believe me)really worried about the unfathomable fate, I decided to wait until some other source said the same as well. And I never read the temporary script, so I never really panicked.

By the way, is there a way I can still red it? does anybody have it? I would like it, just for fun, and then I'll finally know the details about that cave, it's still pretty unclear to me...

^^I didn't read the leaked script either, but I do know some of the content that was in it. I wish I could read it but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I wish I hadn't read this synopsis either
