The Dawn Treader is on the move. I speculate she is going to be reassembled at Warner Roadshow Studios, Stage Five in the Indoor Tank. Stage Five had Coriakin's garden set, as mentioned in this article. The tank has plenty of room to fit the Dawn Treader on it's gimbal.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Slighty off-topic but I wasn't sure where else to put this. I got the image gallery for the Cleveland Point filming updated today. I uploaded pretty close to 200 pictures so be sure to check it out!

N1 well i probably wouldn't put the dawn treader on my ship. I think the only reason lewis but the in the title was because it sounds better.
cool pictures FK
Was looking through the gallery FK just updated and found a pic I hadn't seen before:

Thought it was interesting; A miniature Dawn Treader. I wonder if they have little people on it.

Rest in Peace Old Narniaweb
(2003-2009)
if you all remember the logo released some time ago it read:
Voyage of The Dawn Treader,
can I assume then that they are going to change the title of the movie to the proper name: Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Good point. If the prop department managed to get it right on the ship's name plaque, it hopefully means the logo department got the memo about the correct formatting of the title/name for the logo and such.
I think the only reason lewis but the in the title was because it sounds better.
Lewis didnt just put the "the" in the title to make it sound better, he did it because that is the correct way to refer to a ship. For example, with the Titanic. Its correct name is just "Titanic" or "RMS Titanic", but in a sentence you would refer to it as "the Titanic" (with a lower case 't' on the). Thus the famous incident involving the ship would be, (in the form of a title) "The Sinking of the Titanic".
The same would apply for the ship HMS Bounty, in which the famous incident involving it would be refered to as (again in the form of a title) "The Mutiny on the Bounty" (which incidently is also a film)
.....A miniature Dawn Treader. I wonder if they have little people on it.
Hahah. Its a shame its not painted. That would be an awesome collectible to have at home.
Its also a shame it doesnt have a mast on it. One of the few big mysteries remaining about the look of the Dawn Treader is what the top half of the mast and sails will look like. Would of been very telling if that model had included all the CGI elements of the ship on it, but i guess we will have to wait some time longer for our first look at the top of the mast/sail.
Kylie also added some new photos of the ship to her flickr photostream today. Although we've seen pretty much all there is to see from Cleveland point, these are kind of cool in that they are long shots from across the water. I particuarly like the little scafolding platform they've built out in the water. It looks really cool. haha.

There is also a good look at the flag on the rear mast. In total, including the design of the sail, and the ones seen on the rowboats, i think there are 5 or so Dawn Treader flag desings to be spotted.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/kylie_keene/3961568051/
1. Yellow triangular flag with red detailing (above)
2. Red and white quartered flag, with white diagonal stripe, and green detailing (also seen on rowboats)
3. Green and white chequered flag (possibly a trianglular flag) with yellow parts
4. Mint green flag with yellow border and yellow design in centre (seen on rowboats)
5. Purple Sail with yellow design!
I know I've said it in the podcast and other places, but I love the ship now. I wasn't a huge fan of the prow, I know, but I love it. I also love the design on the sail. I can't quite see what it is, and I expect I'll have to wait for the trailer to see it in full.
I expect it's not any one thing about the ship that I love; it's the integrated whole.

its a maquette of the Dawn Treader, used mostly for reference with camera positioning, lighting, green screen, you know technical stuff like that. i wouldnt be surprised if they have rudimentary "people" models also just to figure out blocking and such.
too bad Weta isnt doing the practical effects here, because if they did, for sure a miniature Dawn Treader would be one of those collectibles that would go on sale
You have a chance to become the most noble contradiction in history
...the Telmarine who saved Narnia.
I actually wonder if there is a bigature Dawn Treader out there for some things.
Oh, I would love a miniature Dawn Treader. I bet Weta collectibles will do one!
