In the preview for LWW there is a clip very close to the end where Peter is twirling a girl with blonde hair. I know that this is a deleted scene that they never actually put in the movie but I'm wondering was it ever released as a deleted scene or anything? I would love to see that but I've never been able to find the clip!

that clip is from a scene that they deleted that was the coronation dance. there is an extended version of LWW that is a 4 disc DVD that has the scene in it
I hope that helps

^^ it isn't on the 4 disc? really? on the commentary of LWW, Andrew Adamson said that that scene was on the extended version.....
I have not seen the extended version, so I was only going by what Andrew said......

The Dancing Scene is not in the Extended Version.
In fact, the Extended Version contains almost nothing that is even remotely note worthy, bar a few extra shots which help to smooth the transition from Winter to Spring.
Thanks everyone.

The 4-disc version hasn't got deleted scenes like the PC 2-disc version has.
It has the same blooper reel that the 2-disc LWW has.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
I wish they had released the dance scene but oh well

I know! I listened to Andrew Adamson's quote on him saying that the dance scene will be on the extended version so I went and got it and was disappointed, though some of the extended scenes were worth watching and some of the features were worth it too.

At the time he said it, I think it was a bit of a maybe-wish, since there was no guarantee of an extended version at the the time.

That or tricking people to buy it for the sake of more money.

I was likewise very annoyed by the four disc version of LWW. The extend version is not worth it at all. I couldn't believe that they didn't add in the dancing scene or at least have it as a deleted scene so we could see it.
The PC deleted scenes are much more interesting. I really like the one with Peter talking to Caspian about his marshals and having the bear be one. I wish that scene had been in, it may have helped some of the problems that i had with Peter's character not recovering from his angst. I didn't mind that Peter was all i am high king peter the magnificent, but i don't think they did enough to make his character recover in the end for me.
The duel was terrible too. That was a badly choreographed and filmed scene in my opinion.

I just don't get why they wouldnt put it on the DVD, even as a deleted scene.
I know they didnt put it in the final cut because they redid their vision of the dryads (Peter may have been dancing with a dryad), but they could have put it in as an extra. They should never promote material that wont be in the movie.
I am still angry that several scenes in the previews for LotR are neither in the theatrical or extended versions (or bonus material). This includes a ton of Arwen footage (her first meeting with Aragorn, her and Elrond's visit to Lothlorien and presence at Helm's Deep, her scene on the bridge in RotK and hugging her father later), the Orc attack on Lothlorien, Eowyn fighting in the caves, Frodo becoming Gollum like (in a nightmare from Faramir), and Merry holding a wounded Pippin at the Black Gate (maybe it was somehow tied to the deleted Aragorn/Sauron fight).
Narnia is much better in comparison, but still they shouldnt have shown clips of that scene at all if they were never going to let us see it.
Winter Is Coming
They probably didn't add it in because there was a lot of CGI work that had to be done for the scene, but they should have at least added the dance as a deleted scene.

Yes I do wish they had added it as at least a deleted scene...it wouldn't have to look all put together the animals could be in "green ski pants with red disco balls" but I would love to see it!!! And I was a little jealous of that girl who danced with him hehe
