Shift and Puzzle aren't supposed to be scary monsters. Tash is the monster.

LOL at whoever said Puzzel is a scary monster. He really meant no harm at all. Shift, what he does is a scary thing so to me he is a scary monster. Tash well of course, agreed.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
Exactly. Tash is THE monster and Shift should be a villain who is very easy to hate.

Doctor Who - Season 11
Tash is most definitely the most scary monster in The Last Battle. Shift is an villain, but the most terrifying bad guy is Tash. I would not count Puzzle as a villain, considering that he did not mean any harm and was being used as a tool by Shift. I think if the movie is made that it should be one movie. It would be difficult to interweave the subplot about getting the rings, but not impossible. They could begin with the rings and the railway accident and then go to Narnia. Just a few of my thoughts.
Wrong will be right when Aslan comes in sight / At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more / When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death / And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again
I actually had an idea similar to that. Only the movie would end with Douglas Gresham narrating the last paragraph in the book, then it would go into the credits.
I like the Susan idea guys
I didn't mean that Puzzle was scary, just that is has a physicality that is more pathetic (In a way ) and to some people, the Idea that Narnians find him scary might be a bit odd (Regardless of the fact that they DO only see him as Aslan at night and he CAN'T talk etc...) because Narnias are scared of Aslan and Shift is causing that fear! That is what I ment by Monsters Because although Tash is the over all scary monster with the eerie appearance etc, Shift and Puzzle (although he was unaware of it) started of all the fear and the Colormene trading and slaving and everything like that, so they (or at least Shift ) kind of have to have an appearance that suggests cunning, evil intelligence and Shiftyness...If you see what I mean.

Narnia is childhood...
Seriously, just give the kid the orange. He needs his vitamin C!
Susan Spoilers:
And this is an interesting point in the Narnia series, how will the remaining films deal with Susan? It is already clear in VDT (film) that she has been enjoying life in America and has interests other than Narnia.
I think they should somehow find a way to weave in what is going on in Narnia with what's occurring in Lindon throughout the duration of the film. I mean, I think it should cut back and forth a few times..
"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter
Susan Spoilers:
SpoilerWhat good would the rings do Susan? Narnia has been destroyed. Its puddle will be gone, like Charn's was at the end of MN.
That was the same thing I thought as well. I really don't want them hinting that Susan will go into the new Narnia but it would be interesting to see her believe again or something.
I imagined a completely different ending for LB.
Another angle is if Lucy (daughter) finds an old photograph album of Susan and her siblings, and asks Susan to explain who they are.
waggawerewolf27, WOW that is a great idea! really freaky how it mixes our England with CS Lewis writing the books, and the 'parralell England' with the pevensies!

I actually don't want to hear anything about what happened to Susan in the film. Before you throw tomatoes at me, my reason is that seeing Susan not in Narnia takes something away from the end of the book. I do think we should see camoes of her in England not believing in Narnia (like telling her siblings that Narnia was such a fun game back then or something), but if we have to see a final cameo of her at the end, it should be a brief moment showing her sorrow for the death of her friends and family. Whatever they do with that, they must do it so it doesn't make it difficult to feel joy for the Friends of Narnia in Aslan's Country.
The only way I hope they don't do it is that Susan dies along with her parents like I think they did in a LB Radio Drama. I still want to feel sorry for her.
