With the report of the first Dawn Treader footage and the hopes of seeing the trailer soon, I started thinking about those first moments when I really realized that the books I Loved were coming alive.
I can still remember that night they premiered the first trailer for LWW on ABC Family. It was the first time I had experienced anything like that. What had been in my head, moving and talking right in front of me.
That moment when you first really took a step back and realized how awesome it all was.
That night I saw the trailer for LWW was that first moment for me. What was your moment, that first moment you realized what it would be like for Narnia to come alive to actually see the characters and scenes you Loved from the books.
I hope I’m wording this right.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

In the "Behind the Magic of Weta" video that came out back in December 2004, when they showed someone in the full Minotaur costume doing this roaring grunt thing. That was definitely the moment it became "real" for me.
Prior to that, i had kind of just assumed that any talk of a Narnia movie was just one of those pipe-dreams which had only resurfaced on the internet due to the LOTR success. But with that video, and that Minotaur, it sold me that this was going to be the real deal.
I know this is kind of strange, but I sort of had two moments. The first, believe it or not, was when The Fellowship of the Ring came out in theaters. I knew then after the phenomenal success of that movie we'd get the Narnia movies.
The second moment that's far more legit, was when Walden Media released their press release that they had secured the rights for the seven movies.
it was the first time I saw the LWW trailer!!!!!
I was at Soulfest 2005 (a music festival in the summer) and they had people showing the LWW trailer as a promotion for the movie coming out. I was in the same tent as the Narnia booth and I was selling merchandise for a band so I was there for 5 hours and I got to see the trailer at least 60 or 70 times while I sat there! it was awesome! I have to say, when I saw the clip when Lucy pulls the cover off the wardrobe and smiles, I knew right then that the movie was going to be awesome!

I was watching Revenge of the Sith when I first saw the trailer and knew there was going to be a Narnia movie. Actually, I was in the middle of reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for the first time when I saw the trailer. When I saw the Professor's house and the wardrobe I thought, 'Hey just like that book I'm reading!' Then I saw the snowy wood and Aslan and then I realized, 'Wait a minute this is the book!'
I'm actually glad I wasn't a big fan of the books when I found out because, if it happened now that I am a big fan, I would probably have a heart-attack.
I didn't really follow the production of LWW or PC, and don't recall even seeing trailers before seeing the movies. So I had to say "Seeing the movie" The excitement I must have missed.... sigh!
EDIT: I do remember seeing movie posters for LWW and PC, and those got me pretty excited. So is that "Other" or "Concept Art"?

Cast pictures. When you see people they've picked out for the book characters, it makes you start imagining the book as a movie
Trailers, It looked so real when you first see film even, if its just short clips.

I had always loved the story of LWW, and loved the BBC version, even if I thought it was poorly made. However, I wasn't a Narnia nut at the time. The first time I saw the trailer I was at Hollywood Connection (an indoor miniature amusement park) and they were playing several different trailers on a few TV sets. I saw the trailer and said to my brother, "They're remaking The Chronicles of Narnia??" I was way excited about what I saw. After that, it was all downhill.

The bootleg LWW trailer. I was pumped, even though the sound and picture quality was worse than mediocre.

Sitting in the theater, listening to the "Evacuating London" track as the train chugged by. It was real and beautiful.

I chose "other." I was in fourth grade, and my teacher read us LWW a few months before the movie came out. I remember her telling the class that a movie was going to come out, and we were all really excited and read everything we could online about it (we didn't really do much bookwork in my fourth grade class...).
Then, my entire class went to see it about a week after it came out. It was so awesome! That year was what got me started on Narnia.
For me, it was the first time I saw the trailer for LWW. I was at the theatre; don't remember what I was even seeing, but I remember that trailer. I was stunned, awed, and amazed.
Much earlier, back in 2004 or maybe even 03, I had heard a little something about LWW being made into a movie, and I searched the web for as much info as I could find (I think I may have even stumbled onto the very young Narniaweb, but I don't remember for sure), but there wasn't much info to be found. I put it in the back of my mind, and quickly forgot all about it (twelve-year-olds have very short attention spans ). When I saw the LWW trailer, it was my first realization that the books really were becoming movies, and to a certain extent, my dreams were coming true. It was very special for me. I remember coming home from the movie and once again searching the web. I found Narniaweb, and began checking it faithfully every day (though I didn't join the forums until the day PC came out).
There, that's my story.

I would have to go with the first set pictures. That way I know the movie IS being filmed. And I get to see the costumes and sets.
