It'll probably refer to MN, like "before the lion (show clips of Aslan), before the witch (show clips of jadis), before the wardrobe (show clips of the tree)". And then go to Narnia Awake. That's definitely the best. So simple, but it sums up the whole book.
I really like this one. A lot.
Though technically, Aslan existed with the Emperor-Over-The-Sea eternally before Narnia's creation, as purists will no doubt point out.

Perhaps the taglines shouldn't mention the rings, then casual movie-goes would think that MN would be some Lord of the Rings rip-off to mooch on the success of The Hobbit.

That's pretty good, but a lot of critics will complain about it not being "politically correct" and "shoving religion down people's throat." Even though MN is probably the most close to Scripture.
