Yeah, sorry 'bout that. You're right, and I wasn't trying to insult or critisize anyone. What I was trying to say is that it's not a good idea to make a final decision without more information. It's cool to have your own feelings about something, just as long as you're open to other opinions (If I'm insulting anyone at this instant, please let me know, because I'm not trying to be rude, since I'm also a very judgemental person ).
I understand what you are saying. I won't make a final decision until we have more information.
I am going to continue to analyze though just because even though i have read this book multiple times over the years, i actually have no idea what is going to happen in the film.
I find that a little odd.
There are no clouds in the sky. There is only the open sun and the Lord watches.
The exact quote in question is:
"...I think they’ve done it in a really clever, unobtrusive way."

I hope he's right about that. Well with the most recent (and quite odd) Apted quote, I'm guessing they're going to start setting up the SC. Hopefully, it won't hurt VDT's plot and as long as they manage not to make to many changes to the plot *coughDI,7swords,witches* I wouldn't mind it too much. Although then they'd have to be extremely careful, because then we get to nitpick about them being loyal (or not so much) to both books.

Could Gael have anything to do with the SC links? I wouldnt know what, but so far she doesnt seem to have a purpose then to be Lucy's cute friend.
Winter Is Coming
I doubt it. She can't be a young LotGK, not that that would make any sense plotwise, since the LotGK is very old. She was alive before the giant city was in ruins.
I think the only connection she has is that her family is a victim to the DI, that's if they intend to have the DI as a SC link. Honestly I'm not even sure where they are going with the whole molevelent (sp fail) mist thing. I seriously do not believe they are trying to make her a LotGK. I think she's just there to up the cuteness factor, and to up the stakes in the movie.

Yeah, I think Gael is just Lucy's cute little friend for this movie, like Trumpkin and Tumnus were her cute little friends in the previous movies. I wonder if Jill will have a cute little friend inflicted upon her or does Puddleglum count?
Booky, I'd say it'd be Puddleglum.

I seriously doubt they will add another person to Eustace, Jill and Puddleglum's group. It wouldn't really be needed, Puddleglum has all the cuteness required.
Quick question to everyone:
I was rereading VODT and I found that in the Cast of Characters at the beginning of the book, there's a section on Jadis that said, "Completely evil, she is also very dangerous, even in the Silver Chair
Me:
Did I miss something or is this just an error made by HarperCollins?
"Now we shall take the adventure that Aslan has given to us!"
^That was made by someone at Harper Collins. No need to fear. Also I think it's safe to assume that LotgK won't be in the movie, at least not physically, since there hasn't been a casting announcement for her yet.

I have seen that in my book, it is just an error, since Lewis never says anything about them being the same. All that is said is that the LOTGK might have been one of the same "crew" as the WW, which just means she is another witch.
I believe Coracle has said in the past that that error crept in due to the person who wrote those character descriptions being confused by the use of the same actress for all the witch rolls in the BBC CoN.
I have a theory that Mr. Beaver and Reepicheep are actually the same person. After all, Lewis never says they aren't. And they're both talking beasts.
/sarcasm
I think Ben made the statement back before the script was changed. I personally believe he was referencing The Lady of the Green Kirtle before she was cut out of VDT.
Interesting... I had not even considered that. If that's true, it's scary to think the LGK came that close to making it into the movie.
Nonetheless, Apted's recent quote indicates that we can expect to see some elements from SC used in VDT.
