It's not only the ending. It's the FILM. I started to cry when Caspian tells the crew to be strong. I didn't knew what is waiting for them there. But I love the ending. It's really most emotional. I think the roar means that Aslan promises them to return. But in VDT he says that maybe. So good! :((

Lucy:Do you remember who really defeated the White Witch?
Peter: Yes.
Susan:No.
Lucy:Do you both believe in Narnia?
Narnians, Caspian and Edmund:We believe.
Susan and Peter:Shut up.

This was my favorite scene. (And really the only one I throughly enjoyed!) All the effects with the water were great, and it was different then any of the other movies. The missing roar - yeah, they could have snuck that in and it could have made it even better, but I'm satisfied. The voiceover- I don't remember all of what he says but I remember liking it. He did a good job with it. But your right, GlumPuddle, they probably could have left it out. Jill Pole name drop- it was okay. They didn't do a whole lot with it, which was good. It could have been a little more subtile, though. Again, could have left it out, but it was nice. Georgie is really good here, with her real agony over not going back to Narnia. Adding a Caspian scene? I think that would have taken away from the great moment they created. They could have maybe played up to them getting married in other places.
It's too bad that the best scene was the last, but at least then finished strong! The scene at the world's end is my second favorite.

Merry Christmas!
