Did anyone else notice that on Narnia.com, when you disembark on Ramandu's Island, it says "Welcome to Ramandu"??? Yet, on the map, it says Ramandu's Island. Which is it? What does this mean? Any ideas?

Oh wow, that's very odd! I wonder why the filmmakers would take the name of a character and name the island that instead? (If that's what they did) I hope that's just a mistake...

Maybe he became one with the Island?

Or maybe he fell into the Island's heart, the Source and became a smoke monster that is now tempting and killing the characters. Oh sorry, wrong story
Anyway, seeing as Lilliandil is referred as Ramandu's daughter still, I doubt that the island itself is Ramandu. I doubt that Lilliandil just popped ot of the ground, you know? And that would be a bit weird for the wedding... Lilliandil walking up the aisle with a piece of rock...
Excuse my stupidity, but I'm currently studying and this is kinda my stress relief

Haha, nice. I love Lost!
Anyway, this is pretty weird...I hope it'll still be Ramandu's Island in the movie. Maybe whoever designed the site just goofed up there.
It's not like they haven't done plenty of that before! But I don't think that's what's going on here. It's so obvious that I think they would have fixed it by now if it was a mistake. I think the name has just been shortened for convenience's sake. Or to give it a unique feel. Plenty of islands in our world are known best by names that do not have "Island" attached to them.
