Actors Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes from the new motion picture Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader join lion keeper Rebecca Stites during the naming of one of the Zoo’s seven lion cubs Aslan after the majestic lion in the movie.

Such a wonderful way of celebrating VDT! I read about this earlier and I love the pictures. Little lion, Aslan is quite lucky to have been honored with such a name. He's so little, yet he already looks so powerful....with the size of those paws...

The Zoo has posted trading cards online for the cubs. Go to this page and click on the image. You'll get the .pdf file to print your own cards.
