You can still get the podcast with technical difficulties on iTunes if you can't wait (I, er, couldn't).

Is it me, or has the entire new podcast been taken off? I checked out the Podcast page and it wasn't there anymore. :-

I took it down because the file had some problems. Rilian is working on it now. He thinks it'll be up tonight.

Indeed it is! I'm listening now. There are still a few rough bits where they get a little out of sync, but it still works if you pay attention.

Awesome, too bad I have too much HW at the moment (a lab synopsis and my midterm project,) but I shall definitely listen tomorrow (and hopefully post my own thoughts this weekend, I know I've said that before -evil HW! )

EDIT-11/12/10

Ok I've finally finished. I didn't want to take up a whole page so I made a video. :P
Also this is the first video that I've ever made and finished, so please bare with me, and I have horrid tech skills :P

I'll be back to 70 later :P

Nice work guys :D

#2 thing that's bugging me about this movie so far...(number one being the DI/7 swords subplot) is the fact that it seems to be leaning more toward the magical world than the other two. I wasn't bothered by the visuals, but the design of the sets, the shots, and the entirety of the advertising. What I loved so much about Adamson's adaptations were that they made Narnia feel real, like an alternate dimension. So far though I love the visuals- definitely improved over Wardrobe (now that I might call pop up booky at this point) :P, I'm just worried that they might make it too magical. :-s

I might just be used to the digital too, after the recent movies/ documentaries. :P

Oh and I believe they're calling those sea cretures- "water nymphs" ;)

I won't say much about the the Aslan's Country dialougue, so as not to spoil you guys. Suffice to say, it made me very happy :D

I had a serious cringe moment (like Rilian and glumPuddle) when I first heard Reepicheep's "we have nothing if not belief" line. Terrible. It seems like a throwaway line put in there to placate Christians, just in case they didn't find the film Christian-y enough. At least, in the minds of the script-writers and director. Horrid. As if the Christian elements in Narnia were that shallow and vague. Andrew Adamson did a MUCH better job (esp. in Prince Caspian) of having those elements in there, but not bouncing on them too much.

Oh well, I kind of liked that line...
Of course, I'm assuming that there is more to it than what is shown in the trailer. If it is just thrown in there for the sake of being Christian, then it will not help the movie.

But assuming that Reep's line comes after an event where that line would be appropriate, I would like it. But thats just me, lol.
