It's hard to say. LWW has more scary parts as in creatures and intense emotional scenes. But PC has some scary action (the night raid is very intense and dark) and also some more emotional stuff and scary creatures, like in the hag and werewolf scene.
PC is darker overall.
On the other hand, LWW has a certain scene. A big parallel metaphoric one. One that can and will make you cry.
None of the books are free of scary stuff. C.S. Lewis was not trying to cover the sun with one hand or to censor and blanden (is that even a word?) things so that nobody would be offended. He wanted to rock the boat.
I would have to say PC had the most action and Violence but LWW had more scary stiff due to all the creatures in the witches army and at the stone table scene. PC didn't have scary stiff like that.
The Stone Table sequence was the only part of LWW I found at all scary. PC, on the other hand, was dark and intense throughout.

yes, me too! when I saw LWW in theaters, I wasn't scared by anythign until the Stone Table. but when I saw PC, my heart was pounding and hyperventalating! it was definitly scarier for me than LWW.

I saw LWW in theatres as an easily scared 10 yr old and it really didn't frighten me(except the stone table). Then I saw PC as for my 13th b-day and the only part that really got my pulse beating was the scene with the white witch. The whole theme of PC is much darker though. It's a lot more violent in my opinion.
I saw the movie....and was disappointed
I think that PC was over all more scary. The dark feel and the deul between Miraz and Peter would probly scare a young person alot more than the LWW. Plus the scene with the witch when they cut his hand even makes me cring.
