[Closed] Parts that make you cry (or almost!)

The first time I watched VDT, it was the part where Eustace is saying farewell. :(( This time, it was when Gael's Mummy is stolen away and the poor girl is left behind-that sequence is so...sad and scary! And anytime when we have a loud, noisy sequence my eyes start watering, like it's too much emotionally...?

What about you?

Lu :)

I've seen the movie 5 times and I cried (or teared) at different parts each time:
--Lucy in her dream sequence talking to Aslan
--Saying goodbye at the entrance to Aslan's country
--when Lucy slowly shuts the door as she looks at the painting...

but without fail, I always tear/cry when Reepicheep offers to stay up and keep Eustace company...I don't know how, but I always FEEL Eustace's sadness/miserable state/regret for his horrible demeanor to the others, and Reepicheep's kindness is so gentle, big, and bright. Get's me every time.

I cried when:

-Gael's mom was taken away
-Eustace says goodbye to Reepicheep
-Lucy says goodbye to Reepicheep
-Edmund and Lucy say goodbye to Caspian
-Edmund, Lucy and Eustace leave Narnia
-they are back in Lucy's bedroom and they stare at each other and then Eustace puts the frame back on the wall and then Lucy sees the Dawn Treader disappear from the picture and then she shuts the door

Even though I don't like Susaspian I still sort of get tears in my eyes when they are saying goodbye.
I cried when Eustace said goodbye to Reepicheep and when Lucy began crying at the end of Dawn Treader.
I cry a lot during a few moments in the first Narnia movie, its a real tear jerker that film is.

Almost-cry moment: When Eustace-Dragon dropped a big dragon-tear and sniffled when he couldn't sleep. I've never had a CGI character have that effect on me. :)

Cry-moment: Definitely when Eustace and Reepicheep say goodbye to each other. That was the most well-developed, touching relationship of the whole film for me. The whole ending with the wall of water and everyone's farewells to each other really.

There weren't any parts that made me cry or even really want to cry. The movie didn't manage to make me care emotionally about the characters.

This is not just because I'm a boy. :P Dobby's death in HP7 had me on the verge of tears, because that movie actually got me emotionally invested.

okay - the first time I saw VotDT, I cried where I didn't expect: when Edmund's trying to distract the serpent and then the serpent takes a bite out of the prow of the ship and Lucy yells "No!" and Caspian yells "Edmund!"
I cried. I just don't know why. well, that whole scene is very emotional and Edmund almost gets eaten three times so..... :P

The undragoning almost made me cry, it was that bad. Also, the green mist - awful, awful, awful.

The end...like the last 20 minutes! I just felt such emotion towards characters, and the goodbye scene with Reepicheep and Eustace! I loved it so much, and the interaction that Will Poulter had with the CGI reepicheep was amazing...it made me believe he was actually there!
And when they get back to England and the water is draining away and they are dry; because it made me feel like the adventure was really over for Lucy and Edmund, and also, the prospect of this being the last Narnia film is just so sad for me!

Also (and you'll thing i'm being a odd here) in the first couple of minutes I shed a few tears, because we'd all waited so long for this film and I just couldn't believe I was actually watching it!

the part where Caspian tells Edmund that he thinks of him as a brother..

"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter

I watched the 'there I have another name' spoiler clip too many times before I watched the movie, so I became desensitized to it on opening weekend. I struggled to hold back tears after Lucy read the spell. It was such a well done scene and I'm surprised by how much I liked it!

Most of the stuff with the mist made me laugh. I was stunned by the undragoning. I wanted to laugh, but it was such an important scene in the series.... Seeing it done in such a cheap and cheesy ("Beauty and the Beast") way was devastating.

When the credits started, and I realized the movie was over and there was finally no nope of it getting better.... I put my head in my hands and seriously almost started crying. I felt betrayed by everyone at Walden. I felt embarrassed to be wearing a Narnia sweatshirt. I felt confused. How? How did this happen?

After the international trailer, I voiced major concerns and I was worried they may have really messed up the story. But I never seriously thought it would be this bad.
