I received an e-mail from Ooperation Christmas Child recently. When my sister opened it up there was this rolling banner with something about Operation Christmas Child partenering with Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It had a place where you could click on a button to watch the trailer. This is where the information was, but I could not open the trailer with my computer. http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/ Here's what it said. "Operation Christmas Child is embarking on a special voyage with The Chronicles of Narnia the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Based on the cildren's novel written by acclaimed Christian writer C.S. Lewis."Operation Christmas Child is a huge organization who gives Christmas gifts to children that our packed in shoeboxes. It is very well known to most Christians. Looks like Fox is trying to reach churches again as they did with the Vacation Bible School.

I am so happy to see that VDT is teaming up with OCC!!! I have participated in OCC for the past 2 years now, and I love it. I can't wait to see what they are planning to do.

I do like how much Fox seems to be reaching out to the Church, what with the VBS, Samaritan's Purse, Grace Hill Media, etc.

This would be really, really great! My church has been participating in Operation Christmas Child ever since we joined, and mind you, that was nearly 8-9 years ago! Anyway, I think part of PC's poor earnings were because they did not try to connect with churches as they did for LWW. This should help promote the movie, and it's helping less-fortunate children. A win-win for everybody!

I'm glad to hear about this. 
OCC is a very good organization and very deserving of support. And it should help get word of VDT out tons of people.
