The only thing I'm worried about is that enough people won't see THIS trailer. They have to! It is so much better than the others. This is the one that will bring people into the theatres.

I don't deny that i have been living under a rock, but why does Caspian stick his arm into the wave at the World's end? Does Aslan let him get a glimpse of the other side?

And I think it was #5, not counting the TV spot.

It's number four after the teaser, the wimpy kid trailer, and the international trailer... i didn't count the tv spot because it isn't a full fledged trailer! i hope this clears up any confusion :)

You forgot the BBC one

This is the first time, but im actually at an all-time low. I don't know why. It's just not the VDT i've been waiting so long for. The novel was put in a blender, and when the filmmakers tried to re-asemble it, they failed. Still hoping that it will be a good film even if the adaptation is lacking...

Well, despite the fact that I've been one of the purists upset by the rumors and really kinda hated the last trailer, my initial reaction to this trailer was one of excitement. I still hate the 'love triangle' bit, but have resigned myself to it. Anyway, I loved all the end of the world scenes, I have a little more hope on the undragoning front, and the special effects looked great.

Second time around, I kinda thought the whole thing was a bit choppy and looked like they just strung a bunch of scenes randomly together (barring the very beginning). I also noticed that at one point Reepicheep is attacking whom I can only think (due to costuming) is Gumpas, which is pretty interesting.

The clip with Edmund, Susan, and Peter is very interesting, though. I'm of the opinion that it is the effect of Lucy saying the spell and not something that happens at the beginning of the movie. For one thing, I'm pretty sure it will begin with Lucy and Edmund buying groceries, which is a more logical place to start and I think they'll start it like the...second?...trailer with the Cambridge scene.

For another, I'm pretty sure Edmund has the beginnings of a mustache going on in that scene and, uh, I'm really kind of hoping it's either a shadow or a 'possible future due to the spell' thing. You can kinda see it in this picture (goes to my photobucket, please tell me if that's not allowed): http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f137/ladylirenel/?action=view¤t=VODTedmundsusanpeter.jpg

Another scene I thought interesting was near the end during the fight with the sea monster. If you look at this image: http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f137/ladylirenel/?action=view¤t=VODTfightingseamonster.jpg you can see a bit of light at the top left corner with Caspian steering the ship, Lucy using Susan's bow and arrows on the bottom right, and I'm hoping she's shooting at the sea monster and not Edmund who you can see on the prow of the ship. =D

Overall, I don't know if it's the most well-done trailer, but the visuals are amazing enough to give it a pass on that account. And I'm slightly more hopeful about the movie as a whole. I can't really put my finger on why, but there it is.

^ I agree it could be edited better, but the scenes I'm seeing made me pretty hapy. Haha, I noticed the moustache as well. ;)

I think its a best trailer. My only complaint is that the Lilliandil "NO!" scene and the shot of Caspian and the Pevensies walking through narrowhaven after freeing the slaves should have been removed or moved to an earlier point in the trailer. At the end of the trailer there should be more action, this trailer sort of lost its flow with those shots.

By the way, I wonder if Peter and Susan show up at the end of the movie to pick up Edmund and Lucy.

At about 1:50. It looks like the one guy that we think isn't on the ship, but instead is at the Lone Islands is running at Caspian. Does it look like the captain is trying to stop him from getting at Caspian?

It also seems like Edmund is standing on the dragon head with his sword at the end. Maybe he kills the sea serpent. I hope so. I don't want Eustace to be the one.

The first part of the trailer is AMAZING (that was the clip they showed us in Naples). Wow, so powerful when Aslan roars the water away. Just stunning.

After that, the trailer goes downhill visually. Most of these visual effects shots just cannot be finished (which is odd...the movie releases in a month). DragonEustace and Aslan look terrible.

The major positive is Caspian walking through the streets at the Lone Islands. I hope that's the scene where he walks to Gumpas' office like a parade....but then what's Lucy doing there? Have they already freed the slaves?

I'm not sure what else to say except that it just doesn't look like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The LWW trailers looked like LWW. The PC trailers looked like PC. This....looks like HP with cheap visual effects.

There is a huge gap between what this movie looks like and what early reviews are saying about it. It would not be the first time there were bad trailers for a good movie. Fingers crossed that it'll turn out awesome! One month to go...

Definitely the best trailer yet in every regard. Very pleased with it.

I'm guessing there is no doubt this trailer will be attatched to the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the 19th.

I suppose this trailer hasn't really changed my expectations much.

The seven swords are still there. The White Witch is still there. Corakin's dialogue is still embarrassing. Edmund still holds Sting.
The ship still looks fantastic, I still love the costume design, and Will Poulter is going to be great.

And it still does not look like "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader."

GlumPuddle, I don't think it looks anything like Harry Potter. The previous three trailers could give that impression but I thought this one carved out it's own identity.

Actually I quite liked dragon Eustace and Aslan, compared to the poster :P And Aslan looks way better than he did in the first trailer, he no longer looks like a toy, and Eustace doesn't look like some giant bat from space anymore :) That scene looks like its going to be amazing. Question! Did Reep have blue eyes in PC?

Also I loved how they showed Reep and Eustace, and I thought him jumping in the water was awesome :)

Visually I think it looks absolutely stunning! To me this looks much more beautiful than just about anything we saw in the first two films. The only shot that doesn't look completely realistic is the shot with Aslan and the dragon. (I think color correction could go a long way to fixing that shot). Everything else. Breathtaking!

I'm not really concerned about the plot points. This trailer made it more obvious to me than every before that Fox is extremely deceitful in their marketing. The way they pieced together Lucy and Reepicheep's line, the way they matched up the narrator's voice with the white witch and edmund scene...I mean really, it seemed that we were get tricked in so many places in this trailer.

But I did get the sense that there is a great movie underneath all of that. I really think the strength of the film will be in the character driven story. That is something that they are not showing in this trailer, but something we hear about by those who have already seen this film.

Check out "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Last Battle" trailers I created!

Aslan did look better, but then he will look terrible in the film like he did in PC. I love how Aslan sort of appears behind them when they are walking toward the wave and startles them.
