I've read Chronicles of Narnia several times throughout my life, but the last time was about four or five years ago. I really enjoyed the latest movie and I just ordered The Complete Chronicles of Narnia hardback to read them again.
Can't wait!!
Good for you! I haven't seen the movie yet, but a hunch of mine says I'll likely read SC when that day comes. I hope you enjoy re-reading them again!
I reread bits and pieces of the book before I saw Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It's a lovely book, and I did really like the movie. Even though VDT wasn't as good of an adaptation of the other two in my opinion, I believe it's still a success if it inspires people to go read the book.

I reread VDT, SC, and HHB over the summer!
"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter
Same here. Though i planned to read all the books or at least watch the movies before watchign VDT, school work/Christmas shopping/other excuses prevented me from doing so. I watched some of LWW after watching VDT, but I plan on fully watching both movies and reading all the books over the Christmas break.

Well I'm going through them right now too, except this time I'm reading them in order- both orders!
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
I need to re-read vdt because in some parts of the movie i wasn't quite sure if that happened in the book or not.
IloveFauns, Same with me and the lost and found LWW episode fortunately I'm reading it now

Awesome!
What cover did you get? I really like the seven book set with the Dawn Treader on the cover. Although it is less exciting that the Prince Caspian seven book cover....it is still quite beautiful.
I just re-read VDT and SC (finished SC yesterday) and after I am done the second Percy Jackson book I will probably read LB and MN. I have read each book before the movies come out, but this movie has made me want to re read the whole searies too!
I started re-reading SC this morning..

Barnes and Noble has a beautiful hardback of the Chronicles for only $19.99. It has a blue and silver cover, with lots of extras at the end of the book. When I saw it I thought to myself "Wow." Visually, it's the best version of the book I've seen. Would look good in any bookcase.

Agreed . It's quite a handsome volume. I bought it as a gift sometime earlier this year. Wouldn't mind getting another copy for myself at some point...

^Mmm... I should look into that. My paperback copy is getting a little worn, from usage. Then again I've always wanted these:
It was actually those editions that I read first with the exception of LWW. But I love these covers, they're gorgeous. (For the record I currently have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images ... 55&s=books I was gonna get the one with Aslan, but they were out and I was to impatient to wait and get either it or the ones I mentioned above.)
I'm almost done with LWW, I could easily finish tonight, if I stay awake long enough Just 5 more after it, and then all 7 all over again

I have the one with aslan on it that has all 7 books in it, I would like separate copies of each book.
