I found this interview on Benbarnesfan.com, most of the information is kept wrapped up but still pretty good in certain areas. Ben talks about taking on a 70 year old Caspian in SC, discussion about Peter and Susan in trailer, MN or SC next, etc. Take a look.

Somewhat reassuring. I like the comments about it being not in narnia and more of an adventure... I hope that translates into Narnia not on the line:)
A nice interview, good find DamselJillPole!
I agree with Ancientdogma, I hope they keep the feeling of adventure in the film!
Something I found interesting is when Ben Barnes said:
Barnes: “While it was very frustrating for everyone else, it was quite nice for me to have a break between the first and this and do other things, and then come back to it with my favourite story, a fresh studio and a fresh director. And playing a king this time, someone who’s been in authority for several years – which is very different to playing someone who’s running away ALL THE TIME. I think when you’re dealing with books based on children’s literature, you have to deal with nostalgia and so on, which is why people balk at remakes and so on, but when you have a new director you can reimagine parts of it as you see fit, which is nice.”
So in the movie did they make Seven years pass in Narnia instead of three? Or do you think Ben just got confused with how many years had passed?

Three years is several years.
Oops! Thanks Bookwyrm!

Thanks DamselJillPole, I enjoyed that interview. What they were talking about was generally by the book, so it'll be interesting to see the final movie.
Just a warning: don't read the comments below the interview unless you don't mind reading about fan-girls swooning over Ben Barnes. Ack!

DamselJillPole thanks a million.
There was one mention that they were thinking of making MN after VDT. I hope they make SC.

The interview was apparently from the VDT Panel at Movie Con III yesterday. I found this recap from another website. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but it's something.
"After screening the Chronicals of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader trailer in 3D, director Michale Apted and star Ben Barnes came out. Barnes looked so much like a young Wolverine with his head and facial hair, clothes – even the white vest – I was looking closely for dog tags but didn’t see any. Anybody casting for a young Wolverine right now? If so, he’s clearly a contender.
There’s a moment in the film that features all four Pevensie kids, which isn’t the book. Apted said it will be “an excellent surprise,” though not now he’s told us all about it. Besides, anybody watching the trailer will it see for themselves."

^ It's moments like this in film when adapting from a beloved book series when a director should have kept the "Excellent Surprise" scene a secret from the trailers and placed it in a later TV Spot or something when we got closer to getting the film release date. I'm sure the scene will look good though.. at least I hope and not another one of PC's tricky and unnecesarry adds.

Great, encouraging interview. A bit strange they are considering the idea of filming Magician's Nephew before Silver Chair. I'm pretty sure VDT will do great at the Box Office. After 2011 there won't be any Harry Potter, Silver Chair would do even better. Chronicles Of Narnia would become the only major fantasy franchise (based on books) beside The Hobbit.
OK, did anyone else catch that "they came back for a couple of days"? part of the whole Peter and Susan in the film section? Please, please, please tell me he meant that Anna and Will came back to film for a couple of days, not that Susan and Peter come back for a couple of days.

You pretty much answered your own question there if you notice the way you phrased it.
If he had meant that Susan and Peter come back to Narnia, he would of said "they come back for a couple of days" (i.e. future tense) and not "they came back for a couple of days" (i.e. past tense).
Grammatically it wouldn't make any sense for him to refer to an upcoming movie appearence in the past tense (or equally for him to refer to last years filming in the future tense). Michael Apted is a pretty smart and articulate guy, so the fact that he said "they came back", does without any doubt mean that he was referring in the past tense to last years filming, so i really wouldn't worry about it.
I hope you're right. I don't usually trust word tenses, and since the article is a write-up, I don't trust the people who transcribed the interview to get things right. (I think I'm a bit cynical when it comes to people's grasp of English grammar.)

Anyone notice that Ben Barnes didn't know if he was in the Silver Chair?
Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.
I also noticed that. Maybe Ben Barnes hasn't read the other books lately. Or, he could have asked that question rhetorically so that Mark Johnson could have a few more words in the interview. Either way, not a big deal.

Peter: I hunch.
Mary Jane: Don't.
