I've noticed quite a lot of news sites and commentators online spinning this as a "Greta wants out" type of story, and whilst I'm inclined to take that as just being websites going for the more click-baity angle on the story, after 6 years of glacial progress I kind of wouldn't be surprised if she did pull out.

(Seriously, I was almost totally convinced that Netflix had given up on the Narnia franchise and quietly dropped it, right up until the Greta Gerwig news was officially confirmed last year. I would hope this means it is going ahead after all, but I suppose there's nothing to stop Gerwig throwing in the towel if she really isn't happy with what Netflix is allowing (or not).)
