Oh, I saw that commercial, 7chronicles! So awesome to see Pauline Baynes' work on TV like that. Now if only we could Digory and Polly on the screen in film...
If I ever get a Kindle or some other e-book reader, I'd definitely want to have the Chronicles available for reading there!
I haven't even started looking for e-books, as I haven't decided what kind of e-book reader I would want to use.
As for other Narnia sightings - when Prince Caspian was just released, there were big posters for it on the columns inside the corridors in one of the Underground stations in Oslo. There are columns all along the main corridor, and Caspian was staring at you from every one of them!

What's always odd is to see people on forums (other than NarniaWeb) using Narnia-themed avatars and signatures. It kind of makes me do a double take, because I forget people outside of here would use such a thing.
Ooooh, I didn't see this post earlier. Quite so, Ithie! On another forum in particular (which isn't actually associated to Narnia), a lot of members will have Narnia-themed signatures, or have thread titles that reference it. It's always such a pleasant surprise!
I see a lot of Facebook pages whose names referencing Narnia as a joke. Like, "I hate when I'm trying to find something in my closet, and all I can find is Narnia."

I love those, but mostly just for the pictures or cat with there heads stuck in boots. I'm sorry, did that sound weird?
I just about banged my head on the ceiling (sucks being tall ) when I saw the Apple comercail with Digory and Pollly. It took me actually reading the words to be sure I wasn't dreaming.
It has also happened to me in radom books when the character is looking in closet for something and come out saying,
"Nope not here. No Narnia either."
When VDT was coming out, I was really excited when I was scrolling though the TV guide and saw an add for it at the bottom!

I thought, for whatever reason, you meant a commercial about apples that had kids playing Digory and Polly advertising... then I figured out what you meant
I also was excited by that... If I see it on the tv I'm definitely pointing it out to whomever's in the room

Yesterday a friend sent me a screenshot of a webpage, and I had a little fan moment when I saw that their Mozilla Firefox theme was Narnian. Mine's currently Captain America, but as soon as I finish with this set, I might have to start using the Narnia one.
One of the meeting rooms (for having meetings with clients) at my work is basically on the end of the office, slightly away from the others. One of my workmates takes clients through and tells them they are going to Narnia.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
I recall when McDonald's had the Happy Meal Narnia toys. That was before I was a Narnia fan and argh, I'm so mad that I had the opportunity to collect them and didn't!! They were really nice and quality. I got Lucy but then gave her away. D:
I always get excited when they feature Narnia in different Blu Ray ads and stuff. And, of course, it's always exciting to see the Narnia books around.
I have not had that many Narnia sightings, unfortunately. I guess it's always exciting to hear Narnia mentioned (when LWW came out, my pastor used to bring it up/Narnia up sometimes in his sermon...it took everything in me not to squeal.) because it seems like hardly any people know much about the series if at all.
And, of course, there are a couple references that come by when you're watching TV.

I have actually had a couple of Narnia sightings in the past few weeks. The college I will begin attending in the fall has a Theology of C.S. Lewis class as an english course. I looked up the books, and it has a really good selection of course material, such as Out of the Silent Planet, Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! I was very excited and hope to take that class eventually. Also, the summer camp I go to is on the campus of that college (but it's not affiliated with the college; it's just the same denomination since it's a Christian college and camp). In the theater, they have posters from past plays they have done and one of them was Shadowlands, which is based on C.S. Lewis's life. I wish I could have seen it and I thought it was so cool that they did that, although I couldn't imagine anyone playing Lewis.
Lastly, I am rereading the book Inkheart (which I totally recommend for anyone on this forum) since the last time I read it was in 5th grade. There are quotes at the beginning of each chapter, and one of the quotes was from LWW when the Mr. Beaver says, "he's betrayed us all". There is also a little book trivia at the end of the book, and when I looked up the answers one answer said, "Alice in Wonderland by C.S. Lewis". When I saw that I was like, "woah, woah, woah, woah, woah....woah. NO." Then I figured it must of of been that book "that Lewis didn't write", as described by Michael Apted. (BTW the author of Inkheart is apparently a Narnia fan.)
I expect a London double-decker advertising the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is thrilling. But would a Sydney tram advertising the Narnia exhibition be some sort of match, as below?
Sorry I never responded to this, but I just wanted to say that the Sydney tram is SUPER cool, as is the as is the London double-decker. And thanks for sharing what you were able to see at the Narnia exhibition!! I just never got back here and responded...
Anyway, I've loved reading all the different sightings that everyone's had!! There's just so many!! And someone...I forget who, said they were wondering whether the castle model in the exhibition was the one they used in the movie. From what I can remember, it was one of the earlier models, and then they changed the castle a little bit, so the tower Edmund jumped down from (I've closely inspected it! ) is not there or is misplaced.
One sighting I've had recently was at our church's VBS: one of the kids had a LWW shirt on, and it made me smile.

There was a used copy of the four disc edition of LWW at FYE when I went there last week... unfortunately I had no cash on me at the time
I also saw VDT at walmart the same day.

In Phil Wickham's recent album Heaven & Earth, the song Heaven and Earth includes the line
"My beating heart is bursting out my skin/to go further up and further in"
That was a nice surprise.
Also, while reading an article in an April issue of World Magazine about the Romney campaign, I found out that Michael Flaherty is apparently in Mr. Romney's inner circle. The article mentioned Walden Media (in connection with Flaherty) as the studio behind LWW and PC - but, interestingly, didn't mention VDT.
