Has anyone seen Narnia appear in very unexpected or unusual places?
Here's a moment I just had today:
I saw this Top Trumps game on Amazon today: Image
The head on the minotaur looked very familiar to me, and after finding the original image it's quite obvious the head was just traced from this photo of one of the costumes used in VDT: Image
The artist wasn't even sneaky enough to trace from a random cow image, but had to choose a costume from a Narnia film.
There is a pub near me called The Golden Lion or something which uses the image of Aslan from the LWW movie poster on its sign. Not even like an artist's rendering of it, just the straight-up image. It's very weird.
That's pretty interesting! Maybe you could take a photo of it some time?
It's not a movie reference, but this is the sign at the entrance to a very small and obscure village in Cornwall that I drove through a bit over a year ago...
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)

I've attached a screenshot of it from Google Street View (link below). Its a pub kind of in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens. I came across it almost by accident one day whilst looking for the site of an Iron Age Fort in nearby Stonea (it wasn't very interesting, the shape of the earthworks was only just about visible)

This one I saw a couple of years ago, Aslan at the end of the world:
Not so much an unusual place, perhaps, as this is a) Oxford, and b) an Inklings tour hoarding.
Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away ... my days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle
