After searching for treasure to the point of feeling violently sea sick, I gave up. Never found any, but I guess treasure hunting is like that. Got annoyed with the site and have not been back since. Took it off my favorites at Facebook ... probably over reaction. It is what it is.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
That Dawn Treader one is going as my desktop background....
Same here.
That looks very much like the same prop we saw in Chris Martin's online portfolio a while back - and yeah, it was like a big kitchen knife. At the time it was one of the few pictures where i wasn't sure it was even supposed to be be from VDT as it looked so out of place, but there it is. You can also spot the chandelier in Coriakin's study as being another of the props he made.
*looks in her Super Secret Folder of Pictures That Got Taken Down* Well, that most definitely seems to be a kitchen knife of some variety. And, very, very confusing as to what Eustace will do with it. I didn't even notice the chandelier in those shots of the library. Off topic, but after looking at those Chris Martin shots again, I'm wondering why we haven't seen/heard anything more about the Lost Lords; he had some lovely drawings of them. . .
I was going with the theory that Eustace is actually sold into slavery after all and put to work peeling potatoes and slicing carrots.
*decides this is the most plausible theory* As to the lost vest, perhaps he loses it at some point during the sold-into-slavery portion? [/guessing]
I got nice big clear copies thanks to Telmar Pictures, including an un-watermarked Coriakin's Library! I have uploaded them to the photo gallery here.
Ooh! Shiny!
Cep, the treasure is a pain to find, but if you look at the cheat thread ( ), someone else has usually managed to narrow your clicking down to only three or four tries. Treasure today is just above Galma.

Cep, the treasure is a pain to find ... Treasure today is just above Galma.
I thought to myself, "Fine. I'll try this yet again." First click above Galma and there is the treasure. Now I feel like the little boy that picked up his toys and went home because he did not win a prize when he was playing a game before. I had used the cheat page before with no success in finding any treasure - was quite frustrating. Thanks for the assist, Lady Liln.
I think I need a holiday.

Yay! I found it too.
I went on the fourth page of the cheats discussion and the last post was Friday - am I looking at the right place? It's now Monday. (At least in NZ.) Maybe we should set up our own cheats thread - anyone cope well with sea-sickness and discouragement? I hope they add something more interesting than just looking for treasure soon.
EDIT: Maybe you linked the wrong page, I'm not sure, but when I looked round more I found this:

Aww. Muchly appreciated.
Maybe we should set up our own cheats thread - anyone cope well with sea-sickness and discouragement?
That is the correct link. Until Lady Liln gave me that hint, no amount of hints gleaned from Facebook gave me any luck. I suspect we can provide each other help in this topic.
*takes sea sickness pill*
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Treasure today is just below the Seven Isles, kinda towards the lower left corner.
Aww, Cep, it's okay. The game is rather frustrating. I wish the game itself gave hints each day or something, rather then me having to dredge through a FB page to figure out if someone else already found it. I had trouble with the treasure today, even with the hints/cheats. It happens.

You are correct. There's two threads, they switched after a few days to the thread you posted; I must have copied the wrong link in. *goes to fix the link in her previous post* Thanks for the heads up!
I hope the map turns into something more as well, as just searching for very difficult to locate treasure (that one does not interact with) is not going to keep me coming back every day.

Okay, so... in the Map game, does one's ship actually improve as you level up? The site says it does. I'm at level 4 with 2325 points, but I'm not the most observant person in the world so I'm not sure if it's actually changed at all. But I think it did... right now my ship has a shield on both sides, a flag on top of the mast, two oars, a dragon head prow, a tail (I think?) on the stern, and i think there are two men on board (they look like they might be people, but I'm not sure). My question is, is that any different from anyone else's ship? Does it actually change? When I think about it, I'm not sure I remember the shields being there, but I could be wrong.
Like I said, not the most observant person in the world.
EDIT: WOW, I'm less observant than I thought! All you have to do is click on 'Edit ship' and it shows you each stage your ship will go through... and wow, it does change alot. I can't believe I didn't notice such a drastic change; it starts out as basically a dinghy! I guess I need to pay more attention to stuff.

It took me FOREVER looking for that treasure....and I STILL didn't find it! How in the world are you supposed to earn points instead of answering one riddle everyday and looking for impossible to find treasure?!
I saw the movie....and was disappointed
I have found some treasure, but not all of it.....argh

I haven't even bothered with the treasure hunting. Maybe if they were giving away free stuff it'd be worth my while, but it seems like too much work just to make a little digital boat get bigger.

Hey thats a good idea! They could give away some posters and stuff! But I do agree; it's definitely a waste of time to go randomly click on squares just to "build a better boat"
