If you're searching today (June 29th), have you tried looking between Dragon Island and the Burnt Island?
Ok, I give up. Who's found treasure?
Flam also noted in the chat room that there's some photoshopping going on with the Edmund shot. (Most noticeable around the center of his armor, near the belt thing that comes across his chest).
I seem to recall there was a promo photo for Prince Caspian in which Edmund had been badly photoshopped to give him two left arms! Hahah. I think i've since seen the original photo of that Prince Caspian one (though i can't think where i might of put it) and i seem to recall it was done either to conceal the fact that Edmund had two swords in the shot, or to block out a creature with blue-screen pants standing next to him. Not that that's particuarly relevant to here, but anyway. hahaha.
the name changes, which I think have been whispered around for awhile, are Deathwater=Goldwater and Duffer's Island=Magician's Island.
Goldwater is not really a name change, since its the name Caspian initally suggests they name the island (admittedly while he is not really in a right state of mind): "It shall be called Goldwater Island. And I bind all of you to secrecy". It's Reepicheep who then later suggests a more appropriate name would be Deathwater: "this is a place with a curse on it. Let us get back on board at once. And if I might have the honour of naming this island, I should call it Deathwater".
So in that sense, the name "Deathwater" could in a way be considered a spoiler for the Island, and so its perhaps only right that they name in "Goldwater" in the promotional material.
As for the island on which the Dufflepud's reside, i've always been somewhat confused as to what it's official name is - the Pauline Baynes map says "Land of the Duffers", whilst i personally tend to refer to it as "Dufflepud Island" or "Coriakin's Island", and of course you mentioned the names "Duffer's Island" and "Magician's Island" - though i'm not entirely sure any are in the text of the book.
^ In the book, Lewis calls it the Island of the Voices. (At least, that's the chapter title)
ETA: In the background shot of all of the sailors standing around on the boat, Tony Nixon says that ...
It's from the Mutiny Scene (well almost mutiny) ...
I presume that means the end of the world where they find all of the Lords and some want to go back and some want to go on.
Someone on a different thread pointed out that Tony posted this (I had missed it). I'm sorry I didn't see who it was that said that, but thank you!
Ok, I give up. Who's found treasure?
Having found absolutely nothing in the location where the official facebook page recommended looking, i read some of the user comments and a few people said they found treasure just to the right of the Seven Isles. And sure enough there is. Once you "find" it, it makes a small treasure chest appear floating in the water, and as far as i can tell, that is it. You can't pick up the treasure chest, or interact with it in any way. I don't think it even made my score go up - big disappointment all round. LOL.
I found treasure! It's over by the Seven Isles (the discussion page linked to by the Narnia FB page mentioned it, and that's how I knew where else to try looking). Here's a screenshot, for anyone who's interested. It appears to have just given me 75 points.
Edit: It didn't give me the points until I reloaded my page. Maybe try that.
Icarus, Ed's PC photoshopping was to "hide" that he used two swords. I remember the shots too, but I don't have time to look for them again just now. Though, I'd like to compare them. . .
Eh, okay, I shouldn't have gone with the names off the top of my head. You are right, I just didn't recall. I did think there was a reference to calling it Dufflepud Island or something though. Not really important, I can live with "Magician's Island."

Also just noted on the official site - the character page biographies now seem to "materialise" in, so when you first view each page, you can see most of the background unobstructed - and the horrible photoshopping on the picture of Coriakin's Library is gone. If you are particuarly quick with the print screen button you might be able to get a better shot of it.
Also, the media page seems to be the best place to get a clean shot of the DawnTreader picture, as it doesn't have as much stuff on it as the front page, and it takes a few seconds before the DawnTreader trailer box appears to obscure it all. Also, they seem to have added a bizarre selection of official and unofficial photos from all three movies to that page. Quite odd. You seem to have to click the "media" button twice to make the image strip appear.
EDIT: Just noticed the presence of a small radio-antenna like device sitting on a rock in the boat shot - presumably that's a marker for where Reepicheep would be standing Hahaah
EDIT 2: What is the background on the story page supposed to be? Is that small black shape on the horizon a lighthouse?
Thanks icarus and Lady_Liln! And you're right Lady_Liln, I got 75 points after I refreshed the page.
(By the way, here's the photoshopped version of Ed's arm.)
FK: wow! they did photoshop his arm that's so weird! why did they do that?

It was because he had two swords in the battle and for some reason they wanted to hide it.

Tony Nixon confirms this too. "Smoke and Mirrors," he says. That was shot at the quarry on blue screen.
Terrible time finding treasure.
“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Jake posted these in the comments on the news story. Gorgeous, fairly high res, loveliness.
Absolutely gorgeous That Dawn Treader one is going as my desktop background....
Edit: What in the world is Eustace holding here? It looks like a butcher's knife. . .
That looks very much like the same prop we saw in Chris Martin's online portfolio a while back - and yeah, it was like a big kitchen knife. At the time it was one of the few pictures where i wasn't sure it was even supposed to be be from VDT as it looked so out of place, but there it is. You can also spot the chandelier in Coriakin's study as being another of the props he made.
Look's like the treasure's hiding place changes every day because I checked by the Seven Isles but it's not there. Can't be bothered searching for ages so hope someone finds it soon. LOL about Edmund's photoshopped arm! I've loved looking through what you've posted since I was last in here. Post the rest of my thoughts later.

Kitchen knife? What is going on at the lone islands?

Don't they sit down to a meal at Corakin's Island? Surely they would use a kitchen knife to cut the bread or cheese or fruit.
