The game seems to be one of those simple Facebook games like Mafia Wars or the Pirates one. Games which don't really have much of a visual interface or any particular gameplay mechanics, but ones whereby you just click through various screens, collect objects, earn points, and such like that - in fact, given how the entire site links up its content back to facebook anyway, i'd imagine that's exactly what it is.
i can't believe the spoilers revealed on the site! they told how the entire series ends! i was shocked!
other than that, i really like the site haha.
Narniachick, I suggest you read the whole series! Each book isn't long. You can then see how the films so far compare with them.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
It's seeming more and more to me that the person in charge of the "Characters" section is someone who really doesn't know what they're doing... first off, as was pointed out, the bios are copied word-for-word from narnia.wikia.com; secondly, the bios give out several spoilers which the production would be wiser to keep under wraps; and thirdly, Reep's page said "Bill Nighy" at first when we know that the casting has been changed to Simon Pegg (unless Simon Pegg replaced him really recently, as in like the last few days, which I think seems very very unlikely). Someone needs to get those character pages up to par!
But maybe I'm focusing on that annoying bit of the page too much. I really like the rest of the site. Icarus's explanation of the game is exactly what I was thinking, too. That seems to be what they're going with here. It's really interesting how much the production has utilized Facebook this time around.

Did anyone else read Lucy's bio?
Lucy was the most faithful of the four and never stopped believing in Narnia, and along with her brothers Peter and Edmund, died in a train crash in England were transported to Aslan's Country with the other Narnians
Could this be some sort of foreshadow as in they are going to include the Pevensie's deaths in the film?
I doubt it, they want to film all seven. Even in that recent interview with Perry Moore future films were mentioned. As has been pointed out, the character bios are off of the Narnia wiki site. It sounds like whoever was doing the website was trying to save some time and just used already written bios.
I would be very upset if the Pevensies died in VDT.
I think a lot of people would be upset if the Pevensies died in VDT (myself included). Even for those who have not read the books and/or are not book purists, the Pevensies have become very beloved characters. In my opinion, it would be a bad choice plot-wise because even though

The possibility of the Pevensies dying in VDT is the least of my concerns for this movie. In fact, it's not even a concern, cause I'm completely secure in my belief that such a thing will NOT happen. It just doesn't make any sense, no matter how you look at it. These bios only mention their deaths because, as has been pointed out, they're from the Narnia Wiki, and were written with the entire series in mind, not simply VDT. So we can all rest assured that the Pevensies will not die in VDT.

That is very true and would make audience's upset but nevertheless I feel like that there is some LB foreshadowing going on here because like it or not, they die in the end but like said, its bittersweet because then they go to Aslan's country and reunited with everyone.
Guys, can you keep the LB spoilers to a minimum? At least put them in spoiler boxes. Some members haven't read LB yet.
Bringing the conversation in a different direction... This is from the facebook page that Narnia.com refers you to:
Visit Narnia.com to sign up for the official journey and begin to build your own Dawn Treader! Magician's Island coming soon.
So evidently there will be a Magician's Island page coming soon. This leads me to wonder if the game from the website will have you sailing from island to island...in order? If this is correct, then the Magician's Island will be the first island that the Dawn Treader lands on in the movie. We've suspected that they've moved this island to earlier in the film. This may be a sign. Does anyone else see this as evidence?
Movie Aristotle, AKA Risto
I think they might end Narnia on this film. ever since I first saw the trailer and saw Peter and Susan at the end and Caspian

Liberty Hoffman I'm pretty sure they won't - check out the thread on the subject for more. I really like the website. It's very flashy with lots of colour but it does take awhile to load even on broadband. I love the transitions between pages - very cool. I also enjoyed poring over those pictures someone had capped. I likewise can't see the entire screen. Fantasia_Kitty as there are quite a few people who would like some caps of it, perhaps you could cap it and post them here? (Pretty please??? ) I think it's pretty cheap they copied those profiles though. I'm also not too fussed on how they keep linking back to facebook. It's a good thing, but at the same time there are those of us who are not on facebook and if being on facebook helps with games and what have you I would be annoyed. To be honest, I like the sound of this game and though I'm not a gamer it interests me (we might get to see tidbits about the movie too!) The whole idea of going round the islands sounds cool and could shed some light on the new order of the islands. Also the building ship thing sounds interesting too. When you log in you can actually go through the stages of each ship til you get to the Dawn Treader - there's quite a few.
Anyhow, better be heading to bed. Those are my thoughts, I'm looking forward to seeing them develop the website more!

The above link provides some fascinating data. The Domain Traffic Graph provides a look at the traffic Narnia.com has received vs. Narniaweb.com, JK Rowling's official site, and the leading Tron Legacy fansite.
Narnia.com/Narniaweb.com-- the traffic recently became about the same!
Narnia.com/jkrowling.com-- Narnia's traffic received a recent bump which launched it higher than JK's site. This trend will be interesting to watch as the release date of Pt. 1 of HP7 draws near.
Narnia.com/tron-sector.com-- the competition is not even close. Narnia.com and Narniaweb win, hands down. This bodes well for the competition in December.

I'm not at my computer right now and won't be til late tonight, but I'll try to remember to upload these when I return. In the meantime, Ben Barnes Online managed to get ahold of the background for the Drinian page. I asked them where they got it and they found it on twitter. I've been looking around to see if I could find any of the others, but no luck. Anyways... here's this one.
