Ok, this might officially be my favorite movie poster. It's simple and that's why I like it. The reflection of the Dawn Treader in Aslan's eye....

Kudos Fox and Walden :D

Very much an improvement over the Cannes marquee. Aslan looks better. Reep is the same from the digital poster. I love the image of the ship on the eye.

Tagline... not so sure about, but then I'm not crazy about taglines in general. However, the emphasis on return is nice to let people know that Narnia hasn't gone away and is coming back.

^Ahh! I love it its awesome. One problem, can't we see Reep in a different pose please?

I love the poster! Going to Regal tonight. I'd love them to have this poster already where I live. I will definitely keep and eye out. :)

Wow! :D I really like it- although perhaps it might have been nice to see Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and Caspian as well, but I have no doubts that they will be on further posters or pieces of advertising later on. After all, was not there several different posters for LWW? :) In any case- I do like the strong focus on Aslan, it raises the hope that Aslan will have his rightful place in the film version of the story, and not be a lessened character like at times he was in PC. :) The reflection in Aslan's eye of the Dawn Treader is a nice touch, it makes one think that Aslan is watching over everything and is in charge. :) (A thought I rather like. ;)) )

Anyway. Very nice poster! :)

I like the poster and its simplicity as well. Nice touch having Aslan keeping an eye on the Dawn Treader like that. ;) Glad we are starting to see the posters for the movie theaters starting to show up.

I absolutely love the simplicity of it. Aslan is the single defining image of the entire series to most people, and adding the subtlest hint of the Dawn Treader reflected in his eye is just genius. Quite simply its everything a teaser poster should be.

Big thanks to LucyP0104 for sending this in. A very unexpected find for certain! Usually they give us advance warning of such things. Very lucky she had a camera on her :) . I think i would probably have some form of heart attack if i ever saw any brand new Narnia related materials and was more than 5 metres away from an internet connection at the time ;)

I was really hoping for a picture of the ship :( but the Aslan focus could be just advertising. He is easily recognizable to promote the movie without actually giving anything away.

I love it. The little preview of the ship in Aslan's eye is really a great detail. The tagline works well also!
I freaked out when I saw the poster, and I couldn't focus very well on the movie I went to go see. I haven't stopped shaking since. :P
It shouldn't be long until the trailer now! Go VODT!

Love it! Though, actually, the little Reep picture seems out of place. It would look more regal and intriguing with just Aslan and the Dawn Treader in his eye.

Good to see this online now as well, I wonder when you'll get some shots of the bookmarks (maybe I should help out with that...).

This! As much as I love Reep, he looks like he stumbled into the wrong poster.

Ditto.

I can't say I am quite that bad; perhaps close. ;)) Very nicely done, LP0104! Great find.

Can't imagine that coincidence our first spotting of the poster was at a theater of Regal Entertainment Group (Over half owned by Mr Anschutz owner of Walden Media).

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”

Love it! I definitely agree, though, Reepicheep does seem out of place. Maybe they felt they had to include him because he's such an important character? Or is he part of the logo?

Anyways, I really love the reflection of the DT in Aslan's eye. Talk about beautifully done! It's very much a "Return to Hope", if Aslan is the main focus, and his focus is the DT! I'm sure there will be more posters in the future. Movies usually have a "teaser poster"--much like a teaser trailer--that usually appears a bit before the actual movie poster that reveals more about the movie. And for a teaser poster, this is perfect. I mean, how many movies are out there that have a lion as the main character? (Live-action/CGI, not animated, I mean). Even the most incompetant non-Narnian fans know that Narnia = Lion. This'll do well to get the attention of just about everybody.
