yeah, "Do you see him now?" made me laugh the first time, but now it's like, "Okay, enough already!" lol!
how about this for a cheezy line: "Are you sure you won't be needing that horn?" (Caspian to Susan after he rescues her from the Telmarines)
I thought it was kind of silly!!!!

Is it alright to post if you don't think any lines were cheesy!??? I don't know if I'd call them cheesy...maybe cute...or fluffy.
Like Lucy's "He's so cute" I thought it was cute, because (Being the little girl she is) she's pionting out a REALLY cute animal.
Susan's brace yoursevles line never bothers me..it's placement is good with the situation. The Caspian and Susan stuff and kiss scenes was romantic and beauitful...NO OTHER word for it.
The joke about Destriers hoooves was fine with me, and the call me again...is one of my FAVORITE lines. But that's me. I know everyone will dis-agree..but I just wanted to say it.

One that seemed a little "cheesy" to me was when Trumpkin meets the Pevensies. He sees the 4 of them, and he goes, "Oh, you've got to be kidding me." Is that something a Narnian Dwarf would say? You've got to be kidding me?

Well I don't believe that a Narnian Dwarf would have said that......
I was a little........Wait A BIG BIT Disappointed with how they did Trumpkin! Not to mention PC
Another part was when right when Lu cut the ropes he says DROP HIM! Is that all that you could come up with!? I did not like that and it was a bit cheesy....

lover of narnia I respect your opinion but I have to disagree. What you describe as cute and fluffy is...well... kind of cute and fluffy. THAT IS WHAT MAKES IT CHEESY! Narnia is not supposed to be cute and fluffy. No, it's only supposed to be the most cool fantasy world ever created for children. That means it has to have a serious aspect to it that doesn't allow for what you call "cute and fluffy". However, after all is said and done, I have probably wasted my words because I am after all speaking to the person that supports the Susan-Caspian romance.

Lady Galadriel: well, I don't know about Narnia Dwarf proper speech, but I thought the line was funny!

Meh, I'm not sure how anyone could consider Susan's cheesy comment about being 1300 years older than Caspian beautiful and romantic. And that awful line about the horn. *shudders*
The slow-mo on brace yourselves did always feel cheesy. I like the "Oh my gosh he's so cute" line, I really do!
The "you might need to call me again" it very cheesy, but I think Lucy off-sets it with her line afterwords.

Agreeing and nodding to everything said so far...
My list:
"Or hooves!"
'Brrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccceeeeeeeee Yourselves!" (Sorry, too lazy to hold down all the letters on "yourselves.")
"I'm older and I don't want to understand."
aand the infamous kiss scene
ugh, the kiss is SO gross! the worst part is how he kisses her and then puts his face on her bare shoulder (the part her dress doesn't cover.....eeewwww)! why oh why did they have to end a great movie with that scene?

I absolutely hate the "Oh my gosh, he's so cute!" line for really only one reason: Girls in the 40s did not say "oh my gosh." They just didn't. "Golly" yes. "Geepers" yes. "Oh my" yes. But "oh my gosh"? Definitely not.
This is one of the things that ruined the movie for me. All the modern dialogue. LWW did not have that as much, I don't think. At least, I don't remember any of the lines really grating my nerves like that one above did. Not to mention all the cheesy flirting lines between Caspian and Susan.
I really do hope that VDT will be better in terms of both dialogue and romance. Seriously.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
Ryan, did you forget about that line of Susan's in LWW "That doesn't really rhyme, you know." Homicidal rage inducer, that one.

That's about the only line I'd have done without in LWW,
there are a few other one liners that I'm not crazy for, but are forgivable.
PC, though I loved it, it had too many awful one-liners, which I try to ignore on my watches.
Actually, IN PC book Lucy calls Reepicheep cute, then Reep does embarass himself by freaking out then realizing he just yelled at a Queen of Narnia

eustacegirl, I think Rising_Star's problem with the line is not that she calls Reep cute, but that she uses the phrase "Oh my gosh" which is a terribly modern. Oh and just for the record, it's in VDT not in PC that Lucy thinks Reep's cute and wishes to pick him up, but she never actually does it.
