Though we all love the Narnia films, we all have our most notable cringe-worthy moments in each of them. We each have our own least favorite scene from LWW, PC, and VDT. But if you look at all three movies as one whole, what would your least favorite scene of all time be?
~Riella
My least favorite scene in all three movies would have to be the scene in VDT where Lucy turns into Susan because you know it was just a marketing gambit put together in order to bring Anna back.
Basically, my least favorite scene was most of VDT.
If you ain't first, you're last.
My least favorite scene... easy, the Caspian and Susan kiss!
I wish that scene had never happened!
I just felt like it totally went against what Lewis wrote.
In my own opinion of course.
The Value of myth is that it takes all the things you know and restores to them the rich significance which has been hidden by the veil of familiarity. C.S. Lewis
The train fight scene... it's very anti-Peter. I'd even rank it worse than the green-mist, though only barely. I feel it should have been cut entirely, especially since it starts off the movie on a bad note... They should have shown him walking away then maybe complaining to his siblings in frustration- that would have gotten everything across about the character's dilemma and not have gone overboard.
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
In Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I hated that 10 second scene with Caspian and Edmund. It made no sense at all. Did something go wrong during editing where they cut the rest of the scene out? (On the deleted scenes, it's longer, and at least it makes sense.)
My least favourite scene is Lilliandil's introduction on Dark Island. She... felt like a glorified Barbie doll, to be honest, and instead of her new name adding to her character, it only made her seem even more run-of-the-mill. She was unsure of herself and had zero dialogue that wasn't either Expospeak or a plug-n-play gag. Also, besides the over-done glow effect, nothing about her mannerisms or speaking patterns suggested she was Daughter to a Star.
Ack. Least favorite scene?
I'd have to say my least favorite scene is in VDT when the green mist is introduced and Lord Bern goes about explaining it. Or, at least, telling about it. I tend to shrink just a bit when this happens, for there really is no concrete explanation nor a reason that the mist can even consume the slaves.

Yeah... that's about the point where I lost hope for the film, lon. The mist just... it didn't work, at all. Even the cave idea from the first script might've worked better.
My "least favorite scene" is really a lack of one- if that counts.
It really got to me that Eustace's healing scene at the well never made it into the moive. Instead we just had Aslan clawing at the ground for two mintues and a dragon spasm. I really thought that Eustace woud have learn a lot about himself in that scene, and that it really set in stone what he was going though, what with the dragonish heart and whatnot.
Stricly speaking, my least favorite scene in all of Narnia was the Susan Caspian kiss, handsdown. I was totally uneeded, unwanted, and wasn't even a very good kiss scene to begin with. When do I get those 10 seconds of my life back?
memento mori
Oh where to begin... about 90% of VDT... Okay, if I have to pick just one, I have to agree with lover of narnia on the scene in VDT where the green mist is introduced and Lord Bern goes on about it. What?! Ugh, the scene just drags on and on and there is no development what so ever. If we are supposed to be terrified of the mist and what it can do to people, don't waste so much time about it (what with Lord Bern "narrating" with poor dialogue quips, the rowing of the boats out to sea, the mist showing up - and with terrible CGI work I might add, the list goes on). It's truly a downfall in the series, not to mention a slap in the face to the wonderful work CS Lewis wrote into the book.

I think one of my least favorite scenes in the Narnia franchise is in VDT, when Lucy is watching that girl flirt and twirl her hair. And so, she copies the action -- to Edmund. I understand that she's most likely practicing for when she meets some handsome guy. But twirling your hair in front of your brother just looks... hilarious. And not in the good, intentional way. I thought that was badly handled.

You mean the scene where they were still with the bike? I always thought that was just Lucy mimicking the motion to herself, like she was filing it away for future reference.
When you put it that way, though... O.o
when Susan and Caspian kiss. that's literally the only scene in all the movies that I don't like

I didn't like most of VDT, so I'm not even going to talk about that.
I didn't like the Suspian kiss at all. *shudder* There was also the short "you might need to call me again" scene.
I also didn't like scene in PC where Peter said, "That explains it. You're mistaken." It made him seem so arrogant and I didn't like him very much as a character at that point. If they had just taken out that line, he would have seemed much less arrogant. That one line made a huge difference.
