Kristi at Lion's call and Paul Martin at Narniafans have both confirmed that the Voyage of the Dawn Treader trailer will indeed be premiering in front of Toy Story 3. So it's official!

I'm very excited about this! I don't think Fox could have made a better choice for a movie to premier in front of it as I'm expecting Toy Story to do VERY well at the box office and possibly be the second highest grossing film of the year (behind Harry Potter).

I'll always be a,

It's going to be awesome and sensational! I can't wait to see the trailer in 3D. :D I'm so happy. I can't wait to post it in emails to friends and have my family watch it as soon it hits youtube! :D

Did I mention how excited I am?? :) 8-}

I'm 95% that Toy Story 3 WILL be the highest grossing film of the year. I also believe it will be the highest grossing animated film of all time! Shrek 2 is coming down! I see 450+ for TS3. This is GREAT news for Voyage of the Dawn Treader!!!

Check out "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Last Battle" trailers I created!

Yes that also makes me happy that many people will see Toy Story 3 and that it may possibly the highest grossing film. That says a lot for VDT's trailer to go in front this movie and means a lot of people will see VDT too! :D :D :D

I am very happy to hear this. I probably would have seen Toy Story 3 anyways but now it is a certainty. TS3 should open really big its opening weekend and a lot of people will see VDT's trailer on the big screen. B-)

The most current pertinent question is one of survival: Will we make it to VDT's theatrical trailer debut whether on-line or on the big screen? Don't worry, we will all survive the wait and 2 weeks afterwards how many will already be tired of watching it on-line or seeing it in a theater/cinema? :-o

Yes, VDT will be here before you know it. Sail on VDT!

AHHHHH!! :D I am so thrilled, it makes me want to run out right now and buy tickets to go see it right now, the earliest showing possible. But I will have self control and find out what time I work that day first...then I'll go get tickets. Just think, in 336 hours we could have already seen it. :-o

I'm so happy! This is the movie I was hoping for, because it has a very broad audience, not to mention I'm 99% sure a lot of people will go to see it. I totally can't wait to see the trailer. It will be amazing (here's hoping)!!! :D :D :D

I'm glad that the trailer is coming out soon, :D but I wasn't planning on going to see Toy Story 3. :-s The trailer will be on the internet too right?

I'm happy with this news. More so that it will go in front of toy Story 3 makes it all the better. Everyone is going to see this movie and everyone is going to see the VDT trailer. My high hopes are even higher now ;)

I'm probably going to watch the trailer on the internet first before seeing it when I see TS3.

I personally find it hard to imagine a person not going to see TS3. It'll be huge!

Looking at the All-Time USA Box Office list provided by imdb:
http://www.imdb.com/boxoffice/alltimegross

Toy Story currently sits at #111 with $191,773,049
Toy Story 2 sits at #59 with $245,823,397

Other PIXAR movies:
Ratatouille is #95
WALL-E at #75
Cars #60
Monsters, Inc. #54
The Incredibles #48
Up #36
Finding Nemo #17

If TS3 wants to beat Shrek 2, which is in the #5 spot, then it will have to make more than $436,471,036.

And by the way,
LWW is at #38 with $291,709,845
and PC is at #216 with $141,614,023.

All of these numbers basically mean that Toy Story 3 is destined to do well in the Box Office, and that many, many people will be watching the trailer for Voyage of the Dawn Treader. :)

I see what Disney did. I think that premiering the trailer in front of a Disney movie will bring in even more money for Toy Story from all the Narnia fans wanting to see the trailer on the big screen. So whether or not the trailer would be in front of a Disney film was an incentive for Disney, not a detriment. :)

I seriously doubt that that's the reason Kotarki. I saw Prince of Persia two days ago and it's a disney film that had other company trailers before it. I even saw The A-Team before it. VDT is just a family oriented movie and this was its' best bet because on the 18th it'll 6 more months before the movie comes out and so it was perfect timing. ;)

Quite alright. *searches for his personal Buzz Lightyear utility belt* I need to have a life first before I go to see it. ;))

I can only imagine placing VDT in front of TS3 as being a good thing. Overall a mutually beneficial move. Although, I am still distraught it was not place in the A-Team. *cannot find Buzz Lightyear utility belt* I think someone stole it. /:) I pity the fool.
