I'd really want to see a good visual rendition of the Underground Kingdom and the Bism.
I really am looking forward to a complete reenactment of that whole Harfang Giant's castle scenario. I do hope they still have the cookbook.
In light of the continuing WW2 theme of the Walden movies, it will be interesting to see how the scriptwriters portray Eustace's school, how we meet Jill Pole and the bullying that was going on there, as well as Eustace and Jill going to Aslan's Country.
And also I hope that whoever plays Puddleglum is as good as Tom Baker.
Puddleglum, if they ruin him I will be very mad
I also want a good Puddleglum, mostly his final stand against the witch. I also really like the part where they discover the "mad man" is actually Prince Rillian. I always get exited listening to the Focus on the Family version, and I would love that to be in the movie.
Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.
It will be interesting to see:
1. the looks on on Jill's, Eustace's faces when they discover a cookbook explaining how to cook bipeds.
2. everyone's reaction when they discover they've been eating talking stags.
3. Bism
Oh, Bism, Eustace recalling Reepicheep... brilliant scene.
Puddleglum will be the make or break of the movie. If he's done wrong every single one of us will hate it, but if they do him just right it will make for an amazing movie.
They would have to find some one very good to play Jill just because she would have to be acting with Polter. From what we've seen he plays and amazing Eustace and she will have to equal that because it will be her first adventure to Narnia.
So many movies have done the scaling for the size of people that's it's not really amazing anymore but running away from giants twice should be really exciting to see, not to mention the man-pies.
As far as production crew goes I'll have to see how DT goes before I form an opinion.

Oh my I have not posted on here in ages! I am most excited to see the Lady of the Green Kirtle herself and see who they choose to play her. I am very interested to see how they make her character in the film because in the book she is a relatively major character we only see her twice and I just want to know what they do with her I like the baddies.
I am also interested in Puddleglum and Jill as well!

Yes I am very excited for the LofGK. I think that in order for a fantasy film to be interesting (and therefore a success at the Boxoffice) I think that there needs to be a strong villian (I think this is one of the many reasons why LWW was more successful than PC). I hope that they give the LotGK a bigger part in the movie than she has in the book. I am willing to bet some money that the green mist and the LotGK are closely related, so I think that she will have a large role in the SC movie.

I beg to differ, Miraz was an awesome vilain, I think he was a better vilain overall than the WW, though I do agree that the vilain has to be pretty good bad person
PeterCharn, possibly you are right about there being a need for a strong villain. And I also agree that the evil green mist might be related in some way to LOTGK.
I've just got my copy of Devin Brown's Inside Voyage of the Dawn Treader. In it he points out that Miraz is too, well, human, to be as great a villain as the White Witch. Yes he is a tyrant, and he oppresses Telmarines as well as the Old Narnians, having seized his brother's throne through murder. But there are any amount of human tyrants who have done the same. Miraz is commonplace. As Caspian says in PC the book (p. 145), the White Witch was much worse than Miraz could ever be. It took Aslan, himself, to get rid of her, but Miraz was merely assassinated by one of his own men, just as in the movie.
By the way, there is a very good reason for paying extra attention to what was done in the movie PC about the duel between Peter and Miraz. Peter as High King had a legal right to kill Miraz by the terms of the combat, but not to slay an already defeated opponent. He passed the honour to Caspian who had a legal right to justice for his murdered father, usurped throne, and the attempt on his own life. But does Caspian have any right to kill his uncle? In the movie he decides not to do so. As the Bible says: " Vengeance is mine saith the Lord". I guess this part of the duel in the film emphasizes just who has the right to take a life and on what terms.

Yes, Eustace and Jill only see LOTGK twice in her human form. Once along the road to Harfang, and then at the final confrontation. But what about that flashback, needed in SC, which shows LOTGK enticing Rilian away? And what about her snake form killing Queen Lilliandil, as we now must call Caspian's Queen?
In the BBC radio play there is a bit at the beginning of SC where LOTGK is praying to succeed in her skulduggery. There is a similar bit in LB, where Rishda Tarkaan prays to Tash for success in his anti-Narnian venture. It would be handy if a forthcoming film did something similar to explain LOTGK's motivation for killing Queen Lilliandil, and abducting Rilian. After all, even the WW in LWW could claim to be the Emperor's hangman/woman (hangwitch?) .

A fanatic Sparrow.
Uh... Underland, the beings that will wake up at the End of the World, and the enormous bridge that they cross where they meet the LotGK!
Lets go SC!
Probably when Caspian shows up and pays the bullies a visit.
I am not sure what I like best about this book. But it is my 4th favorite. Maybe the fact that a female character plays such an important role? I wonder if that is the reason- but it is certainly not exclusive.
