Well clearly you misunderstood everything i said as well. I still think everything will be real regardless of what it's called. It makes no sense at all to have fake hair or clothes when they can just have Anna Popplewell take some photos for them. It would be more expensive and time consuming to do have them be fake and then it will not look as realistic.
This is like the photos in the Daily Prophet in Harry Potter. They have the actors give footage and photographs for those. They don't just make them up because it is so much easier to just have them actually take a photograph.
Also i sort of think the correct term is CGI, but i am not going to squabble about that too much.

Do not go out on me it's just an opinion of what i thought. It's great that you have your own and what I was merely saying is that filmmakers can do anything with computers now, heck regular people in general can now. I can place some picture of an outfit or hairduo and place it on a real life picture of me and photoshop it. Like I stated you didn't have to agree with me or bash my thoughts. They are just opinions. It can work either way.

I am not trying to bash here. I just disagree. I just think there is very little chance that they would CGI old photos. That is just not how it works.
Besides i think it has been confirmed that the actors are back for a small cameo in the film.

I thought descriptions of the Magician's Book scene say that Lucy's face "morphs" into Susan's; that means there would have to be some CGI there. But I don't think we have much of any idea yet at this point whether it's going to be a picture of Susan or a clip of her doing something (Do we?). It's just something we'll have to wait and see on. Besides, Anna may have a cameo both in the beginning and in the Book. We know she's visited the set.
(Or can a cameo be merely a picture, not something moving? )
There may be some CGI involved in the morphing, but her hair and her clothes will be a real new photo or footage.

I hope it's a photo. I mean that is what the people are saying who saw the super trailer and said a picture of Susan pops up in the Magician's book. Picture means still so I doubt it's footage. Maybe more along the lines of Susan in BBC.
Okay new subject, I saw the banner a few days ago and Lucy's eyes doesn't appear dark on the poster like some were saying. I think she looks fine.

I don't think there is any reason for you to feel people are out to get you. This is a discussion forum, we discuss things and if everybody agreed on everything it would be a pretty dull place. When someone sees a point they disagree with, they state their reasoning behind their disagreeing and we don't have to be offended by that. We're just having friendly discussions and debates here.
As far as whether they'll do CG for Susan or not: My guess would be that they wont. They did do CG on Tilda hair in PC, but that situation was a bit different, as the hair had to look like it was floating under water and, to my knowledge, Susan's hair wont be doing anything like that. I could be wrong though, you just never know...

Well you know Tilda Swinton was never on set for PC. Her entire scene in the movie is digital. All the actors have been made digital for a lot of things in the movies, like putting a face over a stunt double, or any other reason. If the "book Susan" has no lines there is no reason they can't have a susan, complete CGI, that moves quite naturally for being in a flat picture.

Well you know Tilda Swinton was never on set for PC.
Uh, no, that's not correct. Tilda WAS on set, we have a picture of her. She lied about it because Andrew Adamson told her to. But he came out and said later that they tried hard to keep it a secret denying she was ever there in hopes she'd be a surprise for the movie release, but Disney insisted on putting her in the trailer, which meant we had shots of her while she was saying she had nothing to do with it.
No, she was there, and that's her in the movie. I'll see if I can't find the official article where AA was talking about it.
EDIT: Ahahaha, I found it. I can't believe I found it. *linkage*
Dark Horizons: When I was at Sundance I spoke to Tilda [Swinton], and I asked her if she was going to be in this movie, and she said she died in the last one. So she was either an extremely good liar--and I will get back to her the next time I see her---
Adamson: She is going to kill me! We talked about this. We had this whole idea that the White Witch was going to be a surprise, I didn't want the audience to know. I thought we were going to be doing the big thing with the Brits, OK, no spoilers on the White Witch and we'll keep her as a surprise. And we get to the point we're marketing the film and Disney marketing guys go, you have to let us show the White Witch. We've just found that the audience really wants to see her again, they loved her from the last film. So I reluctantly agreed, forgetting the fact that I'd asked Tilda not to tell anyone she was in the film. So yeah, she's going to kill me for that I think.
Not only was she there playing the WW, but she also had a cameo as a centaur toward the end of the movie.
^^ so all of this must mean that Tilda was on set for VotDT, right?

Do we know if Tilda was on set for VDT? Or William for that matter? We know there was a stand in for Peter and all we know is that Anna was on set for a day.

I'm assuming when Anna was on set it was merely a visit. William and Tilda were obviously there for filming and this film seems to be more under wrapped with secrets then the other two movies. I agree that maybe that the only time we get to see Anna is a photograph of her in the Magician's Book. I could be wrong that's how i look at it.
On to the banner I actually like it a lot. I like that they advertise familiar faces to bring audiences back. These things happen to a lot of banners it doesn't mean that they will have huge parts.
Everyone seems to belong where they are on the banner and I love the blue background of waves and the design of the Dawn Treader at the bottom. It's a captivating banner.

Okay, can I just come out and say it? There is pretty much nothing I like about this poster. Why in the world would they stick Peter, Susan, and the Witch on it? All you'll do is tick of the Narnia fans!
Not to mention it is a horrible picture of Lucy and Edmund, and there is nothing great about the way the poster is put together.
Two big thumbs down!
I agree with most of what you said. It makes no sense at all that they would put Peter, Susan and the White Witch on this poster. Unless they return to Narnia. Remember that the closing song in Prince Caspian did say "No need to say goodbye... I'll come back..."
, which I always wondered about. Perhaps they come back in dreams of the past? Memories? Or perhaps they really do come back for real. It's all a mystery! I am hoping the preview clears up a little...
As for the pictures... how unflattering of Ed and Lucy. I wish they would have made Ed look more handsome, because he is that... and he's supposed to be a bit more grown up in this particular story. I think Lucy looks fine... I just wish they would have chosen better pictures.
All this to say that yes, I am a but disappointed, but, I'm not going to 'judge the movie by it's cover' I have always loved Narnia, and probably always will, even if they change things up a bit ((Or even a lot)) because I know that I can always go back to the book and be transported into the world of Narnia through the Wardrobe door in my mind. ((No sappiness intended)) I just hope they stay true to the essence of the story.
Thank you to Djaq for the marvelous signature!

I don't think that it is anything to really worry about. We already receieved news that Peter had a stand in at a train station scene not in Narnia, the witch was said to appear as a cameo in a dream shorter then her cameo in PC. As for Susan it must be her picture that will be in the Magician's book. They are all cameos.
By placing them on a huge banner will bring back previous audiences thinking they'll have parts in it. A true Narnia fan would know that they will not play huge roles in this movie. Plus the banner is huge so why not put familiar faces on it. It is something called a 'gimmick'.
