I really do think I see some grey hair. And it would explain why Caspian is so old when Rilian returns to Narnia.
...Wow... gray hair? Seriously?
I thought it was just the lighting of the picture. But now, I'm not so sure...

Yeah, guys, I'm pretty sure it's not just the lighting - I mean, take a GOOD look at it and tell me that that is the lighting, because it's not.
I met Georgie and Skandar AND saw the film in one evening.
Come on, get real guys. Caspian's not THAT old in the picture . Hasn't anyone heard of Highlights ? Plus, It's a Photo of a Picture on a glossy stand up display (and possibly taken with a Flash); there's a bit of colour wash-out.
Sheeeeshk! The film-makers aren't about to do anything as drastic as making Caspian more than twice his book age.

It's amazing that Caspian seems to magically have gray hair only in this production photo and not in any of the shots of him on set. It's the lighting, I'm 99% sure. Check out this photo: Ben Barnes on Set
Not a single trace of gray hair.

But LOTS of Highlights in the on-set photo .
Seems we're getting a blonder Caspian after all . Not surprising though, his hair is getting sun-bleached from being outside a lot. I have fairly dark brown hair and it happened to me when I worked outside in the summers.

Part of me is saying that it's the lighting of the white on the poster. However it's not weird for if Caspian is 21-23 to have a few little grays in this day and age. It could be a simple highlight from being in the sun a lot as well. The rest of the pictures that we've seen of Ben Barnes from this movie is that the greys do not show up until this poster came out. It's the trick of lighting or he has sand in his hair. I think it's one of the other.

Though it's rare, I did know a 17 year old guy with a patch of grey, and another guy who was salt and pepper in his early 20's, and another guy who was seriously balding in his early 20's, so it wouldn't be entirely out of the question.
But we can't forget this is Hollywood we're talking about. They aren't going to be colouring Caspian's hair to add grey for a young man in his early 20's . And believe me, they ARE adjusting his hair colour to achieve the desired effect of sun-bleached hair. Hair and Make-up is always adjusted in films, even if they are working with someone who already naturally has the desired hair colour of the Director's choosing.

Yes I agree with Gandalfs Beard! Caspian's hair at the roots does look very sun bleached rather then him growing gray hairs. My hair as well gets that way when i'm out playing softball. i have medium brown hair but if I'm out in the sun three days straight it'll turn light brown.

I agree, though I still believe it's the lighting of the picture and maybe the sun bleach factor. Point is, if Caspian were greying that wouldn't necessarily mean he was older than say early 20s. He did take on the high stress level job of ruling a country that had just come out of a civil war of sorts. Early greying would be completely justified.
I went to go see Prince of Persia today (I Loved the movie ) and I saw the VDT display!
It was so awesome! It’s way better up close!
As soon as we got in the theater the first thing I did was look for it.
It was way down at the end of one of the halls (probably because it was so big.)
I ran and got my sister from her seat (because I couldn’t look at it without her!) and we ran from the theater and down the hall and just stared at it!
The people at the theater asked if we needed help finding our theater and we said no thanks we’re just looking at the display LOL!

While going through my files, I stumbled across some old pictures I took back before LWW. Let's just say... more proof they are going back to LWW style of marketing...
These were taken with a cell phone...
Now compare the style with the one for VDT:

Similar in style to me! I remember this LWW not being a favorite after the thrill of seeing the stand faded. There were two stands in movie theaters. This one and the wardrobe. So I wonder if we'll see a second one much like the wardrobe, but focusing on the ship.

Thanks for those old LWW pics, starkat. And I hadn't thought of a second display that would feature the Dawn Treader. That sounds like a really good idea and I hope they do it.
If mimicking the LWW style works, I'm all for it. Keep letting moviegoers know that another Narnia film will be coming to the theaters. We know as much about VDT as possible to this point but the average moviegoer may not even know that there will be another Narnia motion picture.
So displays and postesr will do that; whether we personally like them or not.

I think they look really good, but Lucy looks really strange.... is it just me? I can't really put my finger on it, but she just doesn't look like herself. But I like the pix of Will P, he looks like Eustace

saw the movie opening weekend and cried at the end!

I hope you're right starkat. That a second stand up poster would be the ship
Those pictures excite me a bit. IDK why.
