And, well Susan looks like she's wearing a Narnia costume which is making me really worried but...
No she's wearing American style clothes from the 40's
I'm assuming this is going to be the picture of when she's in the Magician's Book.
Is it just me or does Susan look mad about something in the picture?

Susan looks like she had grey hairs... And Peter looks like he is wearing a suit instead of his school uniform so I am beginning to think that we will certainly have a cameo of them in the beginning of the film so we know where they are. I like that idea, I just hope they don't make a big deal about it because this movie is about Lucy, Edmund and especially, Eustace because Eustace is the one to carry over into the Silver Chair.
Are you sick and tired of this VDT display yet?
Nope! Thanks a ton for these. Great pictures!

Nope. And if someone is tired of the standee, he or she should go to another topic.
Again sorry for constantly hitting this thread with pictures.
It is what this topic is for. Thank you for posting the links for the hi-res images. The lighting is better - I think that helps quite a bit.

“Safe?” said Mr. Beaver; “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.”
Thanks for the new pics tenth! These are great! The stand looks even better in high res!
There is something weird about Susan in that photo, but i am not sure what. They are definitely wearing normal clothes for our world back in the day. I don't think if they show Susan in the book she should be wearing clothes from our world, but either way.
There are no clouds in the sky. There is only the open sun and the Lord watches.
Those are very nice takes of the pictures tenthofthatname! It's great seeing them closer up especially RD since she's made so tiny on the poster.

With the new pics (I figured it could have been just the lighting with the other ones) I am astounded again just as how much Susan looks like book Jadis (Pale skin, black hair and very red lips).
ooh those new pictures are quite nice! It's great to ahve a good shot of RD- I hope to go dressed as her to the movies .
Ok yes Susan's outfit isn't Narnian, I can tell that now. But yes, there is something weird about her. I think her facial expression is too firm or something...
These are great pictures, tenth!
Is it my imagination or does Ramda look a bit transparent and surrounded by blue sparklies?
Susan looks almost angry in that picture. Definitely wearing an Earth dress. Looks like she might even be wearing a string of pearls?
The Chief Duffer looks very cool and warlike. The Duffers never seemed like a realistic threat in the book, but looking like that, he's kinda scary.
Still no complaints about Caspian or Eustace. In these clearer pictures, Lucy doesn't look as bad, but I still think she's too glammed up. I can't figure out what Edmund is doing. It looks like a very uncomfortable pose.
The minotaur still looks horrible, even in the good quality pictures. Please tell me that isn't a photo, but just some concept art they used.

Knowing for a fact that the minotaurs are Howard Berger's and KNB Efx's handiwork, I'll wager the minotaurs on screen will look, at worst, absolutely spectacular.

I'm a bit puzzled at all the dissatisfaction with the Minotaur . Looks great to me. In the clearer picture of the display just posted, I thought I might see what some of you are on about. But No, I don't. I've seen a lot of lousy Special Effects and Prosthetics in my time, and I'm just not seeing it here.

Okay looking at other peoples comments I'm not the only one who thinks Susan looks a bit mad in the picture.
I agree with Reepi, Susan looks a lot like the description of Jadis from the books, the firm expression helps too.

Susan DOES look a little peeved about something. I know I would be about not going back to Narnia . Hah, if I visited Narnia, I'd never leave .
Despite superficially resembling the description of Jadis in MN, Susan is far too pretty for such an ignoble comparison. Jadis always emanated her inner Ugliness. For all her faults, Susan was generally a good natured sort. I always figured she'd eventually make it back when it was her time to "pass on".

GB: This is the stage in Susan's life when she begins to recoil that Narnia was all a silly game, she's beginning to forget about it now.
On her looking like WW from books desciption, she was described as beautiful to Digory amongst the other frozen people in her world of Charn. Plus Anna's got piercing eyes especially in this picture were you said also she looks peeved about something.
I'm still beginning to think that she looks mad because it is the part that'll be shown in the magicians book when Lucy is saying half the spell and doesn't Susan's face form into envy in the book?
I need to re read it.
