Obviously we don't know everything yet, but based on what we do know how would you answer the poll?
You can vote for any of the statements you think will be true when you watch the film on Dec. 10th.
How are you feeling about things right now? In what ways will the film version remain faithful to the book?

I think that the spiritual lessons will be in the movie!
here is why I think that: I just watched Michael Apted's movie "Amazing Grace" (about how slavery was abolished in England) and on the commentary, Mr. Apted said that he wanted the Chritian perspectives to remain in that movie.....
so i think that Narnia is in good hands and that the spiritual parts of VotDT will be there!!

I don't know if the spritual stuff will be in there but I voted that characters, events, themes, and the feelings will stay the same...
I think the themes will be the same. I think the characters will be the same. I think the locations are mostly going to look like they were described in the book. I don't know about the spiritual elements--I haven't seen enough to reassure me of those yet. Since the only scene I have heard any lines in was not in the book, I have no basis on whether or not the dialogue will be mostly the same. As for how I feel when I leave the theater, I will tell you when I leave the theater.
I voted that the themes and events will be - mostly - the same. I don't really dare to hope for anymore than that.
Dialogue.. I'm not sure. It could be close or not close - it doesn't actually bother me that much, so long as the general events are the same, although it is nice to catch a line that you recognize here and there.
I doubt the events will happen in the same order, such as the islands being rearranged and so on..
I hope the locations are fairly similar, but I'm sure they won't match my imagination of them.
As for having the same feeling as the book when I leave the theater, my feeling will probably be different. I don't usually get the same feeling from books and movies.
*Wonders if she missed any of the options above*
